Is there a way to self record your screen using Microsoft Streams or Teams?
Our office computers are PC so we don't have the handy free and easy to use features to record how-to videos on our screen or edit them in a free easy to use editing software. Training and Development is looking for a tool for employees to use to de-centralize video tutorials of how to do their job within a framework and guide they are creating. Is there a technology we can use or recommend within Office 365? We used to be able to have employees create Skype for Business meetings with themselves and record them, they could then use the screen share option and create these quick easy self tutorial videos. Looking for a new solution!SolvedstephanieserblowskiFeb 14, 2020Brass Contributor737KViews6likes45CommentsHow to share video recording to external using Microsoft stream

Hello there - I recorded a Teams Meeting today wearing my Teams Certified Earbuds from Jabra. When I played back, there is no sound. I'm thinking that Teams does not recognize external audio devices for recordings? I was talking just fine in the meeting and people heard me. I avoid my laptop audio because I get complaints of echos. Any advise or experience in this area would be appreciated. I'm thinking I just need to use the laptop audio going forward...but was hoping not to.mclemmonsJun 25, 2020Copper Contributor228KViews3likes28CommentsStorage location of Microsoft Teams meeting during recording before transfered to Microsoft Stream
Where is the video data stored during a Microsoft Teams Meeting recording before it is stored in my Microsoft Stream? When I start my recording of a Teams Meeting, Microsoft caches the recorded video bytes. I can not find any description, where? I a hidden Azure Blob Storage in my tenant or somewhere at Microsoft? Does anyone have a reference that says how it works technically?Solved119KViews1like3CommentsIs there a way to track which users have viewed a video within Stream?
I am in the process of creating many training videos on Microsoft Teams, Stream, and other platforms. My management chain is in the process of making the viewing of these videos within Stream mandatory as wants me to investigate if there is a way to verify if a particular O365 user has viewed a particular Stream video. Is this a capability that currently exists, and if not, is there an appropriate place to make such a request? I would imagine the best practice would be that, if such a setting exists, to disable it by default and require the video owner to enabletracking views by viewer. Thank you.DeletedOct 17, 2018111KViews4likes18CommentsExternal Sharing with Stream or Video
I teach kindergarten students and need the ability to give them easy access to videos I've prepared. I usually do this by creating a QR code for them to scan, but for this to work I need the ability to create a link that is "anyone with link can view". Please allow external guests to view video. We are looking for a way to compilevidoe resources to share accross our district but we need the ability to give our youngest learners and thier families easy access...Is this coming soon?SolvedJennifer SeitsingerAug 13, 2017Iron Contributor104KViews32likes108Comments
