Why should One learn AI ?
One should learn because, Microsoft is deep in the AI race right now — investing heavily, pushing into new product categories, expanding infrastructure, and building tools for both developers and end-users. Here’s a detailed snapshot of where Microsoft is on AI in late-2025, highlighting what they’ve achieved, what they’re working on, what challenges they face, and what it means for users/organizations 1.AI is Now the Core of Microsoft’s Strategy Microsoft isn’t treating AI as an add-on — it’s embedded into everything: Windows Copilot: AI built directly into the OS. Microsoft 365 Copilot: Automates Office apps like Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Azure AI Services: Enterprise-grade infrastructure to build, deploy, and scale AI securely. GitHub Copilot & Azure DevOps: AI-driven development and deployment. Learning AI in Microsoft’s stack means you’re aligning with their long-term direction — it’s where every Microsoft product is headed. 2.Unified Ecosystem for Building & Deploying AI When you learn Microsoft AI, you get exposure to a connected environment that simplifies the AI lifecycle: Stage Microsoft Tools/Platforms Data Ingestion Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric Model Training Azure Machine Learning, Custom Models, Azure AI Foundry Orchestration Azure AI Studio, Logic Apps, Power Automate Deployment Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions Integration Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Graph API You can move from “idea -prototype - enterprise-scale app” without leaving the Microsoft ecosystem. 3.Enterprise-Grade Security & Compliance Microsoft has the most trusted AI compliance posture among hyperscalers: 1000+ security and compliance certifications Responsible AI framework (human oversight, privacy, transparency) Seamless Azure AD / Entra ID integration for secure access If you work with enterprise or gov customers, this is critical — they already rely on Microsoft’s compliance backbone. 4.Massive Career & Business Demand According to recent LinkedIn and IDC reports: 80% of Fortune 500 companies use Azure AI services. “AI + Microsoft Cloud” roles (like AI Engineer, M365 Copilot Admin, Azure AI Specialist) are growing 3x faster than traditional cloud roles. Microsoft certifications (e.g., AI-102, DP-100, AI-900) are among the top-requested by employers. Learning Microsoft AI directly translates to employability and consulting value. 5.Democratized AI — Even for Non-Coders Not everyone needs to be a data scientist: Copilot Studio (Power Platform) → Build custom copilots using natural language. Azure AI Foundry → Build intelligent agents visually. Fabric AI Integration → Analyze data and auto-generate insights in Power BI. Microsoft’s goal is to make AI “as easy as Excel” — so business users can innovate too. 6.Future-Proof Skillset Microsoft is working closely with OpenAI and others to lead in: Agentic AI (autonomous reasoning agents) Multimodal AI (text, image, voice) Edge + Cloud AI (Windows + Azure hybrid AI) Responsible AI governance tools By learning Microsoft AI now, you’re future-proofing yourself for this next generation of AI-native applications.AKS vs Azure Web App – When to Choose Which?
Criteria Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Azure Web App ( App Service ) Use Case Microservices, complex distributed apps, container orchestration Simple web apps, APIs, or monolithic workloads Scalability Advanced autoscaling at container/pod level Built-in autoscale for instances Control Full control over networking, security, and runtime Managed platform, limited infrastructure control Complexity Requires Kubernetes expertise Easy to set up and manage CI/CD ntegrates with Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions, flexible pipelines Native CI/CD support with minimal setup Cost Pay for cluster nodes and infra (can be higher for small workloads) Pay per app plan (simpler, often cheaper for small apps) Best For Large-scale, containerized enterprise apps Quick deployments, small-to-medium web apps, APIs Examples Banking microservices, AI inference workloads, enterprise SaaS Company website, REST API, internal dashboardsGitHub Administrator Blueprinting Opportunity

Has anyone managed to pass this applied skills? I’ve already taken it twice and I can’t complete 3 tasks. First, it asks to configure file and configuration tracking for a web app in Change Analysis (classic), which is no longer available. Second, it asks to enable Insights on a VM, but the user doesn’t have the permissions to do it, and they can’t be added. Third, it asks to create a connection test between two VMs, but the user isn’t authorized to add the Network Watcher extension to the Linux VM. Both times I scored 69% (75% needed) and it marked those tasks as not completed.24Views0likes0CommentsCI/CD GitHub Deployment from Dev to UAT Synapse Workspace not Picking Up UAT Resources
Hello, I am setting up CI/CD for Azure Synapse Analytics using GitHub Actions with multiple environments (Dev, UAT, Prod). My Synapse resources are: Dev: ************-dev, azcalsbdatalakedev, calsbvaultdev, SQL DB azcalsbazuresqldev / MetaData UAT: ************-uat, azcalsbdatalakeuat, calsbvaultuat, SQL DB azcalsbazuresqluat / MetaData Prod: ***********-prod, azcalsbdatalakeprod, azcalsbvaultprod, SQL DB azcalsbazuresqlprod / MetaData I have environment-specific parameter override files like uat.json and prod.json. My GitHub workflows (synapse-dev.yml, synapse-uat.yml, etc.) deploy the Synapse publish artifacts (TemplateForWorkspace.json and TemplateParametersForWorkspace.json) with those overrides. Issue: When I run the UAT workflow, deployment completes successfully but the UAT Synapse workspace still shows Dev resources. For example, linked services like LS_ADLS still point to azcalsbdatalakedev instead of azcalsbdatalakeuat. What I have tried: Created overrides for UAT (uat.json) with correct workspace name and connection strings Checked GitHub workflow YAML to confirm the override file is being passed in the az deployment group create step Verified that Dev deployment works fine Tried changing default values in linked services JSON but behavior is inconsistent Questions: Is there a specific way to structure override files (uat.json) for Synapse CI/CD deployments so environment values are correctly replaced? Do I need separate branches in GitHub for Dev, UAT, and Prod, or can I deploy to all environments from main with overrides? Has anyone else seen linked services or parameters still pointing to Dev even after a UAT deployment? Any guidance, best practices, or sample YAML and override examples would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.14Views0likes0CommentsMicrosoft Learning Rooms Weekly Roundup 9/24

Greetings, Hoping to get some help with this. Sort of a doom loop. Going in circles with support via ticketing system for weeks now. Certification expires in 5 days or so. Background: In September 2024, earned SC-200 and it was associated with my work email/Microsoft account. Still have access to that email/account. Nothing has changed. Problem: Now, when logging in with the email address/Microsoft Account that the certification was earned under, I get a new Microsoft learn profile with no accomplishments, training records, etc. I have complete records, including screen shots, emails, receipts for exam payment, etc. I confirmed with Pearson that my email address is associated with the exam attempt. Support has escalated the ticket to some higher level, but this hasn't gone anywhere yet.25Views0likes0Comments[RECORDING] – From Stream to Screen: Real-Time Intelligence in Microsoft Fabric

I'm using VBA in Word 2013. My OS is Win10. I'm having a problem with macros that I created that will no longer work. When I click to run them, I get: "Run-time error '91': Object variable or With block variable not set." I have no idea what the problem could be. These macros ran fine before. Then, this started happening. For example, here's a very simply-written one to zoom out in order to be able to see 5 pages at once in Word: Sub Five_Page_View() ' ' Zoom 45% to see 5 pages ' ' ActiveWindow.ActivePane.View.Zoom.Percentage = 45 End Sub Used to work. Now, doesn't. I get the error above. Why? Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be? Thanks!25Views1like0CommentsLaptop won't sleep
Hello, Got a new HP Victus 16 laptop with a windows 11 installed. Windows is up to date - however, every time I try to put the laptop to sleep, it won't, but the screen goes black, as I have to do it 2-3 times until the light indicator on the laptop flashes. However, if it did sleep, I can still hear the fans going on, compared to an old business HP laptop with Windows 10, which goes to sleep perfectly without issues, and the fans are halted. Any suggestions or solutions would be appreciated.41Views0likes0CommentsCall for Speakers - Azure AI Connect 2026

Feature Overview Request: Add automatic subpage linking functionality to Microsoft Loop that dynamically updates a master/parent page with links to all related subpages. Problem Statement Currently, when users create multiple Loop pages within a workspace or project, there's no automatic way to maintain a centralized navigation system. Users must manually: Copy and paste links between pages Remember to update master pages when creating new subpages Maintain navigation consistency across related pages Keep track of all related pages in large projects This creates maintenance overhead and inconsistent navigation across Loop workspaces. Proposed Solution Auto-Navigation Component Add a new Loop component called "Navigation Links" or "Subpage Directory" that: Automatically detects when new subpages are created within the same workspace Dynamically updates the master page with formatted links to new subpages Categorizes subpages by type, tags, or user-defined groups Maintains link validity and removes broken/deleted page references #MicrosoftLoop #ProductFeedback #Automation #Productivity #Navigation46Views0likes0Comments
