MicrosoftCompletely agree - not what we were expecting at all. We haven't enabled SharePoint Agents for other reasons (complete lack of governance controls, etc.) but this seals the deal for us unfortunately.

I'll message you directly with my email, as I'd love to better understand your perspective on the "complete lack of governance controls, etc." SharePoint agents are governed and managed like any other SharePoint file, with the same governance, security, and management capabilities. If your concern is that we need to do more, I would better understand your point (and agree to some extent). We look forward to addressing in the very near future via new features and a blog dedicated directly to this topic.
