Last time i tried New Outlook toggle on Windows it was bad. First of all it is slow. Rendering is slow, clicking things slow, response slow. Just as the web Outlook (because it is web Outlook presented as desktop app). This is why i don't use web Outlook in the first place. Native app is much more responsive, so why do i have to use the lesser version on a full Windows desktop? I am afraid to ask, but is there a plan to move all Windows apps to web ports? Office? Unless there is a groundbraking breakthrough in performance area, i don't see how this is a better product. But even if i force myself to ignore constant slow redrawing of content, there are other things lacking. Because it doesn't have full feature parity. For me one thing that would involve me completely changing how i operate on a daily basis would be event reminders. We only have limited Windows "action area or whatever" flyouts. Which are hidden in action center and not always available in the taskbar like current one. There are no compact list of all currently active events/reminders, the list in action center is bloated. And there are no fine tune postpone option. I have to juggle multiple critical tasks daily and move one task after another to orchestrate changes. And i can only postpone 5 or 10 min. instead of setting custom times? This is a joke. Maybe that's ok for some office clerk with 2 meetings a day. But too limited for power users. I use reminders for my regular tasks more than meetings. Now i will have to probably use some third-party tool for that. So much of the "Hub" with new Outlook.. And i have only scratched the surface in my one day try with this version.
