Hi Jeffrey_Kalvass
"Have you been able to add your Gmail account or other accounts in the new Outlook?"
I was able to add my Gmail account that uses IMAP but when I do, I cannot see any of my messages, neither those in the Inbox or in Archive, even though I checked set the "All Mail" "Show in IMAP" checkbox in GMail settings, as I was advised to do in the troubleshooting. I was able to view the e-mail in my Gmail account that uses POP.
"Also, regarding your feedback about archiving messages by deleting them, can you expand on that? Are you using a client rule or shortcut? When archiving a message in Outlook, it will be moved to the Archive folder. On the Gmail side, the Inbox label will be removed and it will appear in All Mail. When deleting a message in Outlook, it will be moved to the Deleted Items folder. On the Gmail side, the Inbox label will be removed and the Trash label will be added."
I am looking for it to be moved to the Archive (assuming this is the equivalent of "All Mail") and for the Inbox label to be removed in Gmail, which is how it works at the moment with Classic Outlook.
Also I can now see that flags are available, but you cannot use custom dates, rather only "today", "tomorrow", "this week", "next week" or no date. If this could be made to work with GMAIL/IMAP with flags having custom dates, with the ability to sort e-mails by due date, then it could be usable.
