BarryGraham thanks for your feedback on the new Outlook! I'm interested to learn more about your experience with Gmail in the new Outlook. Support is now fully rolled out, as indicated in our blog post from earlier this year: Starting to support third-party accounts in New Outlook for Windows Preview (microsoft365.com). We have also more recently rolled out support for Yahoo, iCloud, and other email accounts that connect via IMAP. We will be updating the row in the table you mentioned. Have you been able to add your Gmail account or other accounts in the new Outlook?
Also, regarding your feedback about archiving messages by deleting them, can you expand on that? Are you using a client rule or shortcut? When archiving a message in Outlook, it will be moved to the Archive folder. On the Gmail side, the Inbox label will be removed and it will appear in All Mail. When deleting a message in Outlook, it will be moved to the Deleted Items folder. On the Gmail side, the Inbox label will be removed and the Trash label will be added.
