I have downloaded CalDav and successfully integrated it into Outlook / Office 2021. Although I am not going to use Outlook 2021, I want to test the synchronisation further. However, I am having problems setting up a profile and it is the following:
DAV Url: URL of the remote CalDAV or CardDAV server. You should use an HTTPS connection here for security reason! The Url must end with a /e.g. https://myserver.com/
What is meant by the CalDav server and what should I enter here for the URL? My IMAP Mailserver?
Then I read, that many people have problems inserting an IMAP account in Outlook New. With my business desktop, I also had problems; copy - paste of the passwords, etc. did not work. I had to enter them manually.
Yesterday, I also tried New Outlook on my private desktop. Here, no problem at all with the IMAP accounts. Just entering the account name was enough to get the IMAP accounts working.
@ BarryGraham. Although with my New Outlook everything else - except calendar - seems to work, I often see, that documents I read after moving them to an archive folder are marked as unread again. In addition, under Help MS Support has now disappeared completely. Finally, New Outlook occasionally jumps from my default language setting (Dutch) to English uninvited.
It remains a remarkable programme!
