Hi Mat__SCG - thanks for your comment. First, I want to acknowledge that by bringing the Outlook and Windows Mail apps together into the new Outlook, this will require a change to your current setup. We are confident this path forward is the best approach for our users, customers and Microsoft a whole. However, no change is without impact and I'm sorry that this has been a frustrating experience for you.
I came back to clarify your options, though I see you edited your comment already to clarify. You are correct that Business Standard is the cheapest step up you can take, if you wish to keep using a desktop client. However, as a reminder, you can also stick with Business Basic and give the Outlook web experiences a try. I believe it is a great experience that has a lot to offer over Windows Mail, and will not require you to change your current subscription.
I will pass along your feedback on the Admin Center experience. I'm familiar with the UI, I looked in my test organizations and they have the same experience you outlined. I suggest using our marketing websites as the best way to understand the plans available for now, and then just search in the Admin Center for what you want. But point heard.
