Add-ins in the new Outlook for Windows

I have developed a c# .net framework desktop app that programmatically creates an instance of Outlook and then draft emails with an attachment.  It creates an instance of outlook using the following code.  This does not work with New Outlook.  I'm guessing because COM is no longer supported?  Can anyone point me in the right direction to achieve the same with New Outlook?
