UPDATE 1/13/2022: The reason I was having the issue below is because I was attempting to provision to Teams while the Skype for Business firmware was installed on the Yealink phone. Apparently, it is necessary to request an unlocked 'SIP Phone' license from Yealink (using the device MAC address), and then apply the 'SIP' version of the firmware.
Here Yealink's KB on how to switch to the SIP edition firmware: https://support.yealink.com/en/portal/knowledge/show?id=1d124b50a40b7b0471180dd1
My original post:
Has anyone had any luck provisioning a Yealink T41s phone to Teams? My Polycom phones work fine with this method. After factory resetting and pointing the Yealink to the provisioning server URL, it seems to provision. However, when I sign in as a Teams user, it's still signing in as a 'Skype for Business Certified Phone' and doesn't show up in Teams admin center>SIP devices. What could I be missing?
