F1 key in Monaco SQL Editor sometimes crashes Access, or activates the guide e.g. goes to the SELECT guide web page on https://learn.microsoft.com/ (!).

Pressing F1 crashes Access every time for me.

We have reported this bug to the Access team. For me, anyway, if the cursor is in a keyword like SELECT then it goes to a Microsoft Learn web page. If not it crashes. You might want to follow this article to get status updates although we will try to post back here as well. https://www.accessforever.org/post/bugs-and-features-may-2025

Thank you Marco_Chiapparini - I can reproduce this behavior in both Current Channel Build 16.0.18730.20168 and Beta Channel Version 2506 Build 18910.20002. The second issue mentioned above is actually by design. It is correctly going to the appropriate Learn article if you have a key word selected when you hit F1. If you have a word (or nothing) selected and press F1, it does seem to go to the guide correctly but then, at least for me, before I can choose anything, it crashes Access. I am reporting this to the Microsoft Access Team. I will let you know what they find out, or they may reply here directly.

Interestingly, this issue was fixed in version 2503 so this is a regression: Access fixes released in Version 2503 | Microsoft Community Hub
The Access team have also confirmed this behaviour since it was reported by Maria and will investigate the cause.
