Hello, I'm facing two issues. Not sure if the second one is causing the first one: My Search bar at the bottom of the screen is greyed out (I cannot type there) and the same happens when I open the Start menu (with Ctrl-Esc). Typing doesn't allow me to search for apps/settings/documents but simply highlights menu icons that are already shown in the Start Menu (so pressing 'e' highlights the Edge icon, etc) My cumulative Windows Insider 11 Update (Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Insider Preview (10.0.26120.4250) (KB5060820)) is failing upon restart with the 'Something didn't go as planned' message. The error code for the update is: 0x80070005 I tried reindexing and resetting the Windows Search service for 1) and retried the update for 2). No luck What would you suggest as a next step in troubleshooting?190Views0likes2CommentsThere are many similar items in Optional Updates section and I don't know which one to install
in Device manager there are a 4 hardware that need drivers and in Windows update => Optional updates section, there are 7 drivers listed but I don't know which one I am supposed to install. there needs to be more information there to tell us exactly which one to install. there are even drivers listed there with the date 1970!
