5 Topicsper user time zone settings AVD Windows 11 multi-session
Hi, trying to achieve something we thought and would expect to be quite simple, but it doesn't seem to be! We have an AVD environment running Windows 11 multi-session and FSLogix. All apps are fine, everything works fine other than changing time zone. When a user changes their time zone (via Windows > Time & Language) the setting does not persist once the user logs out and logs back in. When a user logs back in the time zone doesn't keep the time zone that the user changed to previously. Does anyone know why? We have the 'Allow time zone redirection' group policy setting set to 'Not Configured' and have also tried Enabled\Disabled. Any help would be appreciated thanks.783Views1like1CommentTeams not working in Windows 11 AVD + FSLogix
I am currently setting up and testing a Windows 11 AVD environment for future use, but I am having trouble with getting Teams to work properly. When a user logs in for the first time I am able to log into Teams. When keeping it open for a couple of minutes the client will start having problems, like crashing, restarting, staying on the "Waiting on Teams" screen or just showing a full white Teams application window. When signing off from the AVD Session Host and signing in again Teams is not working either anymore. I have found out that Teams appears to be working fine when I exclude the user profile from using FSLogix. This is not a solution however. The problem seems very similair to https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/671639/teams-for-vdi-amp-fslogix.html, unfortunately the mentioned registry key is already present. Further information about the current setup: Image: Windows 11 Enterprise multi session Applied VDOT: https://github.com/The-Virtual-Desktop-Team/Virtual-Desktop-Optimization-Tool FSLogix: tested with versions 2105 and 2015 HF_01 Teams: Latest version installed with ALLUSER=1 and in combination with AVD Optimisations (WebRTC) I am very curious if anyone else has experienced problems like this.19KViews0likes35CommentsInPlace Upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 for VM v1 Types
Hello Community, I´m currently searching for a way to InPlace Upgrade Windows 10 to Windows 11. The Desktop-Image for the AVD Host is a VM with VM-Version 1. I already know that the basic need for a windows 11 installation is the activiation of TPM and secure boot. This can only be done with a VM in VM-Version 2. I already opened a microsoft ticket, but microsoft is telling me there is no way and we need to build new images with a fresh installation of windows 11. Is there already some knowledge in this community? Thank you in advance?7.8KViews1like5CommentsTaskbar missing on Windows 11 Multisession AVD with Profiles with FSlogix
