hello I'm having a lot of problems with virtual machines on windows 11 Edition Windows 11 Home Version 21H2 Installed on 7/24/2021 OS build 22000.160 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22000.160.0 and the problem I'm having is if I get Kali Linux from the Microsoft store I open it up and I get an error message Installing, this may take a few minutes... WslRegisterDistribution failed with error: 0x80370102 Error: 0x80370102 The virtual machine could not be started because a required feature is not installed. and this only started happening to me recently when I updated to the new version of Windows 11 and yes I went to my bios and enabled virtualization technology and also I enabled hyper v in windows features and I get a similar error in Oracle VM VirtualBox when I try to start a virtual machine in the virtual box it says WHvCapabilityCodeHypervisorPresent is FALSE! Make sure you have enabled the 'Windows Hypervisor Platform' feature. (VERR_NEM_NOT_AVAILABLE). AMD-V is not available (VERR_SVM_NO_SVM and yes I did install Windows Subsystem for Linux so I'm not sure what to do anyone have any suggestions ? Three months ago I purchased the HP Spectre X360 13" , i7 , 16gb RAM, 512 SSD and since then I have been experiencing some certain screen bugs, especially when the laptop stays on for several hours. 1) Flickering, Black Screen, Freeze and Breaking: It always starts with intense flickering and cracking of the screen (i.e. distorted letters and numbers), then the screen freezes for seconds and the display gets filled with horizontal lines of the headers of the current open windows. As I move the cursor this becomes more and more frequent, while when I use two fingers on the mousepad the screen turns black. 2) No Taskbar: Another thing that I have experienced in the past is the headers of the current open windows to appear both on the top and at the bottom of the screen replacing the window's task bar, which also happens for some seconds. 3) YouTube Bugs: While viewing some videos on YouTube I have experienced a) The video image "running" to the left of the screen like it has been on a spinning wheel. b) When shifting to full-screen mode the video image remaining at small size, c) half the video image being on display as if it could not load the whole picture1.4KViews0likes0CommentsA lot of performance loss and a lot of latency no matter what content is launched
Hello, I am contacting you because currently on the Windows 11 Family Insider Preview 64-bit build (10.0, Build 23451 (23451.ni_prerelease.230428-1438). I am experiencing a lot of performance loss, drops. Many crashes ... . Before being Insider, even the Windows versions in public mode had the same phenomenon! I reinstalled Windows, but no solution, updated drivers, BIOS, Chipset .... Here is the information from my HP laptop: System Model: HP Laptop 17-cp0xxx. BIOS: F.24 (type: UEFI). Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 5700U with Radeon Graphic (16 CPUs), ~1.8GHz. Finally, I think that this concerns AMD devices!543Views0likes0CommentsI want to Leave Insider programme without Lose my data.

Hi! Recently I have encountered a rather annoying bug on Windows 11 IoT LTSC where I launch an edge as a process from my .net 9.0 C# code. I need to track Edge and if it exits for some reason I have to relaunch it. I'm tracking whether it has exited by subscribing to the Process.Exited event, but on the beforementioned operating system this event immediately fires even though the Edge itself visibly does not close and stays functional without any problem. This results in infinite edge processes getting launched, since every new instance also exits. Interestingly this issue does not occur when tested with other browsers nor it occurs on Windows 11 Pro, everything works completely fine in these two scenarios. I'm guessing IoT version has some kind of different power plan to reduce battery drainage and CPU usage if possible. My other assumption is that the msedge.exe available with default windows is just a parent process on the IoT version, and it just starts the actual processes needed to present the content of my web app. It'd be great if you could check this and come back to me. Thank you! Kind regards, Gallusz.40Views0likes0Comments
