Hi folks, It appears that there are some minor functionalities missing, in https://www.microsoft.com/uk-ua/microsoft-365/microsoft-whiteboard/digital-whiteboard-app. Dashboard Filters As a user, I would appreciate the ability to view some filters on my dashboard, including "My Whiteboards," "Whiteboards Shared with Me," and "My Favorite Whiteboards." (Note: Currently, this information appears to be available in OneDrive). As a guest in a few organizations & I'm unable to start a whiteboard in any of them: Why is this? I assume there's a configuration option that controls this? Is there a limitation w/ guests in Teams? Additional Notes/Research This doc page describes how to enable for the tenant but nothing about guests: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/whiteboard/manage-whiteboard-access-organizations?view=o365-worldwide I also reviewed this doc page but couldn't find anything about guest behavior: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/whiteboard/manage-sharing-organizations?view=o365-worldwide Nor did I find anything here about guests & whiteboards: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/meeting-policies-content-sharing#whiteboard search helpers: microsoft teams whiteboard guest accessSolved7.9KViews0likes1CommentWhy is the Whiteboard Tab blank in the meeting details when you schedule a meeting?
Hi All, I noticed that the default "Whiteboard" tab within the meeting details is blank after you schedule a meeting. I thought you were able to schedule the meeting. Then go into that tab to create a whiteboard for the meeting ahead of time. However, it doesn't look like that is possible. I thought it used to be, didn't it? I even tried to create a new whiteboard while in a meeting and then checked that tab after the meeting. It's still just blank. I checked it both on the Teams Desktop app and Web app. I even tried to clear the Teams desktop app cache. Does anyone else have this issue?Solved1.9KViews0likes4CommentsUser seen as external user for whiteboarding
We have installed a new hybrid meeting room from Logitech. When we start a new meeting and try to do whiteboarding we receive following message: Whiteboarding in progress, for now, only members of this org can participate. Soon, you’ll be able to, too.’ However the user and meeting room are both inside the company. Why is the meeting room seen as external? We now enabled to allow external users to do whiteboarding and it is working but why is the meeting room seen as external?3.6KViews0likes2CommentsMC263517 Whiteboard Complete Failure
Obviously product managers for the Whiteboard feature will likely not see this since its rare for Microsoft staff to visit here anymore and now that I can no longer leave feedback via the admin center. MC263517 states that some users in my GCC tenant used Whiteboard and they shouldn't have been able to. So to cover Microsoft's screwup I have to go out, via PowerShell, and somehow transfer their Whiteboards to my account and then download. The provided PowerShell is completely useless to me as it doesn't give me a full list of userIDs and suggesting I write a program using the Graph API just to figure out which of my users used Whiteboards is preposterous. Why isn't that capability just built into the PowerShell commands? It was YOUR screwup, not mine! Even if I could figure out who, I can't transfer them to my account as I never used Whiteboards, and well you've turned off that capability for my tenant so I can't even add that feature to my account even if I wanted to Not that it'll matter, but Microsoft, you get an F- grade for this complete failure.1.1KViews0likes2Comments
