When I opened my onedrive mobile app today the app pushed a message saying that a restart was required. I restarted the app and it told me to set up my personal vault. I've been using my personal vault for several years now so no set up was required. When I logged into my personal vault, all of the files within it were missing. They're available on the online version of onedrive but not in the app version. There's nothing in the recycling bin and there's no recent activity to suggest mass movement/deletion of files. I've restarted the app multiple times, tried with and without wifi, and have tried on different devices - all are showing an empty vault. Has anyone had this problem? Within the 'Replicated items' blade of an Azure Recovery Services Vault our team member gets only "No Access" returned. We want a set of team members who can run "Test Failover" with minimum required permissions in a custom role. Is this a viable model within the Azure Recovery Services Vault Replicated Items? We know for example, that Azure Active Directory > Activity > Audit logs does not have a read-only or minimum privilege option ... one has to be Global Admin to use that blade. Please see the screenshot. The situation is as this. A new Dell notebook was purchased and initial Windows started. With this, OneDrive was deploying a shortcut, named المخزن الشخصي, in arabic, which relates to the Vault feature. Firstly, no one requested vault to be active or enabled per default. Secondly, deleting this shortcut will re-create it instantly - in the wrong language Vault was disabled online (a very peculiar process btw. - instead of disabling it within the app's settings) - but the character are still wrong and the shortcut cannot be deleted or changed. I appreciate there are many(!) general OneDrive vault issues floating around but I wondered does anyone have a solution to a very specific oddity which has rendered OneDrive useless to me - and hence is preventing me purchasing it for use with my small business. Multiple Windows 11 PCs (all up to date, clean etc etc) - OneDrive working correctly, access personal vault and authenticate, all good can see files and access them. One PC hard-line ethernet, the other via WiFi OneDrive website - all working correctly including vault. Samsung Galaxy S10FE Android phone (all up to date, patched, clean etc etc). OneDrive app (v7.32.1) is working fine except for the vault... after authentication (PIN or Biometric I've tried both), the vault appears empty. Upon refreshing, it throws a nonsense "not connected to wifi/mobile data" error. Things to note... all devices are signed into the same MS account, I've tried different WiFi, just mobile data vs WiFi, I've uninstalled, rolled back to factory, cleared cache, reset app, logged-out and logged-back in again. Nothing root'ed or custom on the 'phone, just plain android with Samsung setup. I've confirmed definitely connected - as evidenced by other files upload and download fine, speedtest app shows steady 500/70 on the wifi. Also tried the same version of the app on a cheapie Motorola android phone, exactly the same issue. Can anyone help here - anyone else seen this? I need to make a decision as to whether to subscribe for my SB but currently it's useless - the vault is primarily what we need. Thanks in advance.100Views0likes2Comments
