I recorded an important training through Skype. 11 days have passed, and it is still in ‘Processing’ Status in Recording Manager. It is only 413 MB as shown in the Lync Manager folder. I know it would take time to complete, but 11 days is too much. Please advise.852Views0likes0Commentsthe meeting invite not exist in server, please create new skype meeting, this error while updating e

I am trying to present a training and throughout the trial calls I have been unable to upload a powerpoint with an embedded video. I have tried to upload the saved video file as well as the embedded youtube video. Neither have been successful. The file has been compressed and optimized. Final compressed size is 56 MB. It is not my program, I join the call and the person who created the call makes me the presenter. I am able to share my screen so they can see the video but there is no audio, if there was audio for the attendees, I would not even need to upload the video. Is there anyway to know how to get audio on the other side? and if not, why I am unable to upload the video or PPT file with the video embedded?622Views0likes0CommentsContact Bar not showing in Skype for Business
Hi, We have purchased Office Business Premium recently because we need Skype for business for video conferences. We have install it on several devices(android,Windows),but on every device there is no contact list bar. So we cannot add contacts, also others Skype contacts cannot add our skype account as their contact. We realised that microsoft is transfering skype to teams, but we need Skype for business on our videoconference device,it doesn't work with teams. Can you please advise what to do to make Skype for Business working. Regards, Panoramika Hotel2KViews0likes1CommentS4B Noob
Hi All. Skype Noob here.. I will soon be starting a job role that will involve supporting S4B on prem users who will be using conferencing facilities. I know my way around Teams well enough and can configure back end voice routing and such but I have yet to encounter a s4B on prem deployment. Can anyone advise the best place or some good resources i can get my head stuck into to bring me up to speed and improve any troubleshooting for this. I will be pushing hard for users to move to Teams...621Views0likes0CommentsIntroduction and Skype for Business Quick Start Guides
Hi all - My name is Nick Suter; I am a Program Manager for the Customer Engagement and Adoption team, within Skype for Business. I have been at Microsoft for the past 10 years - all with the Skype for Business group. Well, we started as Office Communications Server, then Lync and now Skype for Business. My passion lies with connecting to our users, understanding their current needs and painpoints and then working to help solve or ease the pain. To that end, I wanted to share a set of important resources we have for our Skype for Business users: Quick Start Guides. You can download our Skype for Business Quick Start Guides here: https://docs.com/OfficeTraining/9869/skype-for-business-quick-start-guides A couple of points about this resource: Print these out - use these as a ready reference when you are using Skype for Business Top 3-5 things - these are not a cumulative training resource; they are not designed that way. We use these to outline the 3-5 things that you need to know to get up and running with the product as quickly as possible Small, snackable - these are small by design; we want to keep it short and give you immediate relief and skills with Skype for Business Ever growing - we have six (6) cards today, but are looking to grow the library we have I encourage you to download and start using these guides. Once you have tried them out, let me know what you think and what else we can create a quick start guide for. I am looking forward to hearing back! Thanks! Are there recommended settings a corporation should set for online Skype meetings to improve security for meetings? Just discovered that if a presenter/host just closes the Skype meeting window it doesn't End the Meeting and attendees can continue in meeting. This also applies to ad-hoc meetings with the Meet Now option. The attendees are still in the meeting window.Solved5.3KViews1like2CommentsSFB Missed Conversation email trace
Hi, Does anyone know the origin of the SFB 2015 (On-Prem) 'Missed Conversation' emails. Does the message goes from our SFB onprem to exchange onprem (and then to User) or does sfb onprem sends this message to exchange online (O365) and then to user's inbox? Thanks in advance.994Views0likes1CommentEnable Agent Anonymity and How this Works with Response Groups
We have our switchboard operator set up to use Response Groups. It is working great! However, they would prefer that their name not show up when transferring calls to other areas of the campus. I noticed in the Response Group screen that I could "enable agent anonymity" and thought that is perfect, that will resolve the concern. I enabled the feature and then they started reporting problems with transferring calls to other response groups. Has anyone set up anonymity for their Response Groups that can explain what this does or the limitations? I did some Google searches and see others talking about it, but it sounds more like about the ability to call out as the response group number instead of how the calls are transferred. I had to back out of what I did for the campus switchboard, but I have a test group set up now so I can test to see what happens. I wanted to check with others to see if others have done this and figured out a solution to keep operator names private. Thank you! John6.1KViews0likes2Comments
