Hi, Hoping that someone could share some thoughts and/or advice in relation to a scenario we're trying to find a solution for. We have a channel, in which we use Posts to share information, which can be grouped into two or three themes, with channel members. For clarity, please refer to the below pic for what I mean when referring to Posts (as distinct/different functionality from chats). What we'd like to do is mark the posts, with the respective theme, and be able to filter the theme so that users don't need to scroll through the whole list to manually find posts related to the theme they'd like to see. Some other considerations: we like the idea of using a consolidated channel for multiple themes, so that there are less different channels etc that users need to navigate/keep across all channel members need to have access all posts (not any specific subset of members/users) if there was a way to have multiple "Posts" tabs, this would work for us to be able to share the themed posts to a centralised posts space, as then users could access the separate Posts tab for specific themes as/if required we're trying to find the least "clunky" solution/approach to achieve an ease of grouping/finding posts related to a specific theme Thanks in advance for your time and thoughts : -) Cam.45Views1like3CommentsBest performance management software for Microsoft 365?
We are on the lookout for a new performance management app for our HR department. I think we really need something that lives inside Microsoft Teams and isn't going to be another extra app for people to check on. I've gone through the app store and have a small list but I would love some suggestions.43Views0likes1CommentTeams meeting that I created will not let me join
I have created several video meetings within Teams. When I click on the invitation link within my Outlook calendar or the "join" button I am brought to Teams. I confirm that my camera is on and that I am going to use my computer audio. When I click the "join" button I get the message - "when the meeting starts, we’ll let people know you’re waiting”. Mu invited guest get the same message and are waiting on their end as well. I created the meeting. I would assume that I could join the meeting and that I would be notified when they are queued up to be admitted to the meeting. Anyone have an idea what is going on here?10KViews1like7CommentsNew to teams: Are multiple outgoing sales lines possible?
Hey everyone! I am the sys admin of my small law firm, and we officially switch to Teams and Microsoft as a phone provider on September 15th. Currently we use 3cx as our PBX and Callcentric as our provider. Most everything is already set up, and waiting for the port. I already have a reception and incoming sales queue set up with a main auto attendant, basically cloning what we have now. We are noticing that our main phone line is being marked as spam when we call out, likely due to it being our main line and our sales dept is going gangbusters. It was suggested we buy multiple sales lines and switch the number our salesperson is dialing from every so often. What I am wondering is: If we purchase a handful of these numbers, is there an easy way to switch what the outgoing number of our salesperson/sales team/sales queue is showing on outgoing calls and is there a way to have incoming calls from each of those numbers funnel into our incoming sales queue, which is often populated with at least two people? For reference, we will no longer be using 3cx after the 15th so everything is under MS's roof. I also asked copilot hoping it would have some insight, but Im not entirely sure if it understood my situation. Any help is appreciated.65Views0likes1CommentIssues with new Teams of Mac
Hi there, I have been having login issues with New Teams and it is causing a great deal of stress. After having New Teams, I am unable to login with my work account. When I start up New Teams, login screen would come up with three different accounts (two personal and one work, as I was unable to login with work account). When I select work account, a pop up window would show as if its logging in, but after few seconds, it would take me back to the login screen with three different accounts. However, I am able to login to Teams with me personal accounts. Tried selecting new login and enter my work account has shown same result. After tested different logins, I believe its Teams cache that is causing the problem. - I've also tested on different computer accounts on the same mac that is having the issue with newly downloaded teams. It login in with no problem. (No problem with the OS or teams version) - I've login in on Teams on my iPhone with no problem. (No problem with the account) - Login in on Teams on browser with no problem. (No problem with the account) However, I've tested below ways (Done what was on other threads) to delete its cache and login credentials but the login still has three different accounts shown and it does not solve the issue. 1. Fully close Microsoft Teams. 2. Move or delete (if you're really confident): /Users/{username}/Library/Application Support/Microsoft 3. In Finder, locate Teams New, right click and move to Trash 4. Using Spotlight Search (accessed by clicking the magnifying glass on the macOS menu bar), enter “Keychain” and select Keychain Access. Search for Microsoft Teams keys in keychain. Within Keychain, search for keywords that contain “Microsoft", "Teams” to find the Teams Identities Cache entry. Right click this item and select the delete option, then close the Keychain Access app. 5. Most instructions stop here and say Relaunch Microsoft Teams. I found an additional series of locations to clean up 5a. Go to /Users/{username}/Library/Containers, there will be a handful of Microsoft Teams related directories like: com.microsoft.teams2 I had to give Terminal full access to disk to remove these directories 5b. Go to /Users/{username}/Library/Group Containers/ search for anything related to Microsoft Teams and remove them as well 6. One final check of the Activity Monitor, you may find it reporting some process running with the process name: com.microsoft.teams2.* Quit those processes Would appreciate any sort of help or advises.9.3KViews1like6CommentsIntroducing a new feature on Microsoft Teams: "Save this message"
Exciting news - alongside pinning your posts/messages, you can now save them too. All your saved messages will be neatly organized under the "Saved" menu within Teams, right below the "Followed Thread" section. Look out for a special icon marking your saved messages for easy reference. And the best part? You have the flexibility to unsave messages whenever you wish. Stay organized and never lose track of important information with this handy497Views1like1Comment
