6 TopicsScheduling Management for Room Mailboxes
Greetings, We have a few Teams rooms that will be used for classrooms. Is there a way to bulk load meetings (classes) ahead of time to the room mailbox? For example we have a few classrooms that will hold classes specific dates/times. But we still want everyone else to have the ability to book the rooms. I would also like to know what solution anyone else is using when booking meetings with Teams rooms that are used for classroom/meeting spaces. Are there any solutions for scheduling management across multiple teams rooms? For example, a scheduling manager oversees multiple classrooms/meeting spaces and wants the ability to see the meetings and easily preload meetings ahead of time. Thanks for any info!168Views0likes0CommentsMicrosoft Teams Voicemail & Exchange Edge = SenderIdAgent; Missing purported responsible address
Hello, we are still an Exchange on-prem company. Our MXs are running Exchange Edge 2019.There is no hybrid in place. Our department responsible running our PBX systems want to migrate our legacy PBX systems to Teams.During tests we ran into to following: Teams to Teams calls going to voicemail are getting delivered to the inbox of the user. Voicemais from phone numbers to Teams are getting blocked by Exchange Edge SenderIdAgent. 2022-05-06T09:26:48.526Z,08DA29C47ADB060A,10.10.10.22:25,104.47.2.56:6284,104.47.2.56,,noreply_skype_voicemail_1f47ba59-036a-4809-a3ee-ae162cd7a1c1@company.com,+35212222222222;,user@company.com,1,Sender Id Agent,OnEndOfHeaders,RejectMessage,550 5.7.108 SenderIdAgent; Missing purported responsible address,MissingPRA,No valid PRA,,1e88da3f-b49e-45de-4ae6-08da2f428bbf,,Incoming After minimal research we found out that it is true that the voicemails sent from Teams have a FROM address which is not formatted in a RFC compliant manner: Voicemail messages aren't delivered in Teams or Skype for Business client - Skype for Business | Microsoft Docs "The primary issue that affects third-party email systems is that the FROM address is formatted for PSTN calls in a non–RFC-compliant manner." Microsofts workaround for symptom 1 "Add the Cloud Service IP addresses listed at Office 365 URLs and IP address ranges in an SPF record." We did that, but Edge still does not accept the messages. We doublechecked the record, it is valid. Microsofts alternative recommendation is: Alternatively, create a transport rule to bypass the spam filtering for Cloud Voicemail coming from them." So my questions are: What IP addresses do we need to whitelist on Edge? It looks like that you have to whitelist the whole O365 universe and our company doesn't want to do that. What if another account/tenant in O365 gets compromised and starts sending spam towards our org? What's the best way to solve this? Thank you and have great day!2.5KViews0likes1CommentRestore Teams private chat history to new mailbox
Hi, I'm having an problem with restoring Teams chat history to new user accounts and and their mailbox. I disabled Azure AD sync for a few users and deleted their account in the cloud tenant from the recyclebin and enabled the sync again to solve an issue with calendar syncing with on-premise mailboxes. Unfortunately their Teams chat history also vanished from their Teams account and now I'm searching for a way to restore their history. I can see the deleted mailboxes and should be able to restore the whole mailbox to a temporary account but I have no idea if the missing data is in there or how I can move the Teams chat history to the new mailbox. Can anyone give me hint or solution? Thanks and Regards5.3KViews0likes4CommentsExchange Online MailUser ExternalEMailAddress Attribute changes (Hybrid)
Hi Everyone, i'm looking for a Error in Exchange Online, where my Teams Users have (partly) no Calendar, when their Mailbox is onPremise. When i tried Autodiscover v2 for effected Users i got a redirect to a onmicrosoft.com Addressspace and not do my onpremise Address Space. Microsoft Told me that the ExternalEMailAddress Attribute at the Mailserver in ExchangeOnline is responsible for that. After investigation i saw that some MailUsers in EXO have a different ExternalEmailaddress Attribut that the PrimarySMTPAddress. While the Investigation with the Premier Support they asked me to create new logs, I tried to enable an account my test accounts and saw that simply enabling the account in my onPrem AD (no further changes) and syncing to AzureAD changed the Attribute ExternalEmailaddress from the primarysmtpaddress to the remote Routing Address from the EmailUser. For me it seems that there is an error somewhere in the Sync-Managers in Azure but Microsoft keeps asking me for logs from my onprem Mailserver and running HCW again and stuff like that. Set-Mailuser -externalemailaddress is of course not working, because it is a synced identity. Has everyone seen a same behavoir? Cheers, Sebastian PS: Some Accounts turned themself ok after a while but not all..5.6KViews0likes3CommentsText to Speech differences
Ive noticed that the actual voice sound on Auto Attendant text to speech voice prompts are different to Call Queue voice prompts. AA prompts sound very robotic, whereas the CQ prompts sound more human; is there a reason for this, or is there anyway to make them sound the same to keep consistency across the board?766Views0likes0CommentsPowerShell to Expose Microsoft Teams in the GAL?
We would like users to be able to view groups created via Teams in the GAL. I found the article but cannot find documentation on docs.microsoft.com. Does anyone have a link to Microsoft's advice on this? Thanks in advance for your help. http://blog.schertz.name/2018/07/displaying-teams-in-the-exchange-online-address-book/2.8KViews0likes4Comments
