teams direct routing
5 TopicsCaller ring back for auto attendant redirect (Direct routing) - Silence while redirecting
Hi All, We're setup with ported direct routing telephone numbers and have assigned a phone number to a resource account, then the resource account is assigned on an auto attendant. When the auto attendant redirects to a user, the calling party does not hear any ring back, they just hear silence. Is this a bug, or is it by design? P.s we have the ring back bot setup (i.e. direct routing gateway setting - media bypass disabled) Thanks,8.7KViews1like13CommentsDerived Trunk for Teams direct routing hosting model
I am working on a case about Teams direct routing hosting model. After going through the article about 'Configure a Session Border Controller for multiple tenants' https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/direct-routing-sbc-multiple-tenants I found the part describing the derived trunk from customer tenant to carrier's tenant confusing. Quoting from the article ' Sbc1.customers.adatum.biz – the derived trunk in a customer tenant that does not need to be created in PowerShell. You can simply add the name of the derived trunk in the customer tenant in the online voice routing policy without creating it.' Does anyone have experiences on similar cases and can kindly provide me with some suggestions on how to configure the derived trunk? Thank you so much.27KViews0likes26CommentsCisco Unified Border Element CUBE Router Certified for Microsoft Teams Direct Routing for Non-Media

We link the AudioCodes SBC with MS Direct Routing, and link the SBC with our internal PBX phone system, now we're able to call from teams client to internal extension or call via PSTN to external user. but now we have question on audio conference call, for example: 1. User A is making teams phone call with user B, 2. Next, user A invite user C to join the call, user C is unable to join if A dial the office extension of C, 3. it works when A dial the external DID number of C. All A, B, C users are using E5 licenses. Why have such problem, from my understanding User A could invite 3 party users to conference via the DID number, then mean the SBC passed the call to the PBX and reach the user C via the PSTN, why cannot invite user C's extension to join the conference? any setting issue on PBX or MS side?3.9KViews0likes1Comment
