Is this a glitch or features? I have the problem since the first Windows 11 Insider Preview (Dev Channel, Build 22000.51). But it seems haven't be fixed yet. My current OS build is 22000.176 (Beta Channel). It seems that the registry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StuckRects3 resets every time explorer.exe starts. For instance, if I change the position of the Taskbar (00 -> 03), then save, and then reboot explorer, the registry resets, and the taskbar remains in the bottom of the screen. Please attend to this.20KViews1like14CommentsNotification badges for PWAs pinned to the taskbar
If possible, it would be good to see notification badges on taskbar for the pinned website like Twitter and other social media platforms we already get some sort of hint when there is notification available on Twitter on Edge favorites toolbar, (using Edge canary 83 at the moment) notice the small red dot. it disappears when I go to Twitter and check my notifications or mark them as read. i think this is great and needs to be visible on the Taskbar pinned items too.8.9KViews5likes9CommentsHow can I custom toolbar/taskbar on Win 11?
I'm trying to restore a custom toolbar on my Windows 11 taskbar that directly links to a folder, as I find it very convenient for accessing frequently used programs. Previously, I could place these on the right side of the taskbar, but now I can only adjust the position of the main taskbar to the left or middle. I've looked through numerous YouTube tutorials but haven't found a solution yet. If there's no built-in way to do this in Windows 11, could someone recommend a widget or third-party program that might help? Thanks in advance!Solved8.3KViews0likes4CommentsTaskbar peek in fullsreen mode
Edge chromium currently hides the taskbar in fullscreen mode. User has to press Win + T or Win keys every time to display taskbar while in fullscreen. When being fullscreen taskbar should be visible when the mouse is brought down near the taskbar. Edge legacy had this feature. Kindly work on it. I am attaching a screenshot from the deg legacy.6.5KViews9likes7CommentsSkype for Business on Windows 11 no new Message taskbar notification
Hi! I am using windows 11 now and also Skype for Business (Client Version 2111). In windows 10 when I get a new message in a minimized chat window I was able to see this because the taskbar icon flashes. In windows 11 this is not happening anymore so I do not see when I get a new message in an already opened and minimized chat window. Regarding to my message settings I get a notification when the first message appears but when I do not close the chat window (just minimize it) and some time later another message is comming in I do not get another notification. Is someone else having this issue and is this intendet behaviour? Currently it is very difficult for me to use skype for business because I will not be notified for new messages this way except I check the messages once in a while? I already have tried to check my notification settings in skype and windows but I think windows 11 just stop to support this feature. Can this be correct?5KViews1like2CommentsWindows 11 start menu not clickable
When the taskbar is centered i can't click inside the start menu but if i place it on the left, it is possible. Then the terminal had the same problem, if i place it on the center i can't click but i can in the left. It's like something is blocking the screen center. The problem only happens with this programs, it is very weird. I attached a video. The problem goes away if i only enable the second display and then only enable the primary display.3.9KViews1like4CommentsTaskbar Inaccessible when Teams Preview windows is maximised.
Hello all, Bit of a weird issue that we are experiencing when previewing the new Teams client - when the window is full screened, we cannot access the taskbar when it is configured to auto-hide. Pressing the start button pops the taskbar up but moving my cursor to the bottom of the application doesn't do anything. Does anyone else have this issue? This issue is also apparent in the Windows Terminal Preview.Unable to create calendar event from taskbar
Build 18936 from July announced the feature "Quick event create from taskbar". I've never had it, and can't find any information about this feature targeting only specific markets (and why should it..?). I can't be the only one experiencing this, so does anyone have a clue why it doesn't show up?Solved3.1KViews0likes10Comments
