surface hub and teams
4 TopicsLogging into a Surface Hub to hold a class using MS Teams remotely from another location.
We are currently trying to see if there is a way to login remotely from an offsite location to a room where we have a surface hub. We currently use MS Teams and Office 365. The goal is to hold a class with the teacher at a remote location that can turn on the hub and teach without anyone needing to physically turn on or log into the Hub at the actual location. This way our staff can just walk into the room, sit down and attend the class.1.5KViews0likes4CommentsAccess of Teams using Multi tenant in Surface Hub
Hi Team, In our tenant surface hub is configured is configured using Azure Active Directory and Team is accessing using the device account (xxxx@yyy.onmicrosoft.com). We need to connect the team using the Surface Hub which is in different tenant using Teams. How we can do the same? What configuration needs to be done in O365 in Source tenant (Our tenant) to Destination tenant (Client or Distributed Tenant). Currently we configured the Surface Hub device using the Azure Active Directory. But we cannot join directly with the Surface Hub which is in other tenant for Teams. Appreciate your help.1.3KViews0likes1CommentMap app and other apps missing from main screen - Teams rooms
Hello, since upgrading to the new Teams rooms for Windows for Windows 11 for Surface hub 2s, we've lost all the apps from the main screen. Users are now unable to run the Edge or Maps app. These are installed and available when you login as an admin however we do not want users logging in. Is there a way to get Maps to display on the main screen or where it also displays whiteboard. We do not want users logging in to the device with admin credentials or their own or that of the room devices. Is there a way users can do this through Teams, i can see Whiteboard through Teams but no other apps. regards Michael17Views0likes0CommentsSurface Provisioning package
I need some assistance with MDM enrolment for provisioning packages. I can't find what credentials I should be using for building devices and thus after assistance please. When this option for Enrol in mdm is off, some devices have gone into Intune and some haven't. I can't think or see why this is happening. They go into Entra but not Intune. I thought this was a build issue with the devices but i've tried various i.e. upgrading from a Windows 10 teams room to Teams Rooms for Windows 11, and a build media of the New Teams rooms for Windows 11 but still the same issue. I understand i need to complete this Enrol in MDM, so I need some assistance as to what credentials i should be using please. Apologies, if this is a duplicate, for some reason i was certain i had published this yesterday but i can't see this post.13Views0likes0Comments
