Start Menu Layout Group Policy
I have setup a Group Policy under User Configuration - Administrative Templates - Start Menu and Taskbar and I have Enabled Start Layout to point to my XML file which is in a shared folder. However, the start menu layout is not changing for all users. Any ideas what I can look at to fix it? Thank you.
Unable to open start menu and settings Windows 11
I am on the beta channel of the Windows Insider Program for Windows 11 update but for the past 2 weeks, I have been facing issues with the start menu and settings. They don't open at all, I tried opening settings with CMD but I get "File system error(-805306367)". I did try reverting back updates using Advanced Startup Options Menu in Windows 11 but got another error. Couldn't find any other way to fix this. Need help ASAP. Remove search bar from Start menu, the search icon and all of its feature are already available next to start button There is no need to show search bar at the top of Start menu, keep it simple. the search functionality and icon is there right next to the start menu, with all of its features, don't need to duplicate it on start menu. keep start menu simple. Windows 11 start menu not clickable
When the taskbar is centered i can't click inside the start menu but if i place it on the left, it is possible. Then the terminal had the same problem, if i place it on the center i can't click but i can in the left. It's like something is blocking the screen center. The problem only happens with this programs, it is very weird. I attached a video. Office Deployment: Pin to START Menu
We have just moved all our PCs from our internal server and connected them to Azure AD. We then used Intune to push Office to all PCs. This has worked great, apart from 1 or 2 PCs that had issues, but the strange thing is that on most of the PCs that Office was pushed to, the Start menu was cleared of all Apps, and each Office app was pinned nicely to the Start Menu (refer screen cap). However, there are definitely other PCs where the Start Menu was not cleared AND the Office Apps were not pinned to it? Does anyone know why most users got a fresh new Start menu but others didn't? We all are obviously on the same Tenant with the same Office licenses??? Thanks
Microsoft Edge name when pinned to the Windows 11 Start Menu
Currently when Microsoft Edge is pinned to the Start Menu the name appears only as 'Edge' (the ShortDisplayName in VisualElementsManifest.xml). Everywhere else I've looked the application is always referred to as 'Microsoft Edge' in full (taskbar name, documentation, application menu etc..). I'm just wondering if this could be considered a bug? Or is this behavior intended? Thanks
