Give/Request Control in Teams Web Client
Hello, We are hoping to move from a model where we have different use cases for different meeting platforms to one where we use Teams in most/all cases. This is a better UX for the bulk of our users but of course there are some limitations. One key limitation we are running into at the moment is that control cannot be given to/requested by an external meeting attendee who is joining via the web client/mobile app. Some of the posts I've found online from spring of 2020 say that this is a technical limitation that is planned to be fixed, but I do not see any updates on it and it is not in the Teams product roadmap. Does anyone have any information on when/whether this will ever be fixed/changed? Thank you.
Microsoft Teams on a Windows Virtual Machine Request Control
I have a problem in Microsoft Teams client installed in a Guest Virtual Machine Windows each time I ask for Request Control during meetings. During the control the pointer does not have my user icon and any movements and clicks I do in the host screen are ineffective. I would say that Request Control in Teams in my Windows VM does not work properly. Do you have any suggestions that could help me to solve this problem ?
