How to trigger in Office Read-only yellow ribbon message?
Hi, Is there a way how i can show/trigger in Office (Word, Excel) a yellow ribbon message "Read-only This document was opened in read-only mode..."? I have my custom WebDAV server where i serve my files (Word, Excel files) Already tried: - To return 403 Forbidden on LOCK. (didnt worked) - Removed MS-Author-Via Header (Didnt worked) Also is there a way how i can show that Session is expired?
All SP Files Opening RO - Related To OneDrive Space Issue?
Hi SP Community: Over the past 3 days ALL files in SharePoint are opening read-only. Two questions: 1. Is this related to the OneDrive space issue of the past few days or something else? 2. Hi Everyone, I am configuring SharePoint Online for my organisation and received a request that whether we can disable the "Save As" button on the Read-Only office files (excel, word, etc.). The image attached showed the case when read-only users modified the file and then try to save it but as they do not have the permission, the "AUTOSAVE FAILED" notification will pop-up. Documents from Document Sets open in Read-Only
Hello, I read a couple of older posts that reference files opening as read-only from document sets with metadata attached. In the document set I've got a new entry form where the user inputs their data and then uploads their files as desired after the folder is created. I've got the same issue even when check-in/check-out is disabled. Is there a work around for this issue now? I ask because we want to work in the desktop client app (Excel, Word, etc.) Thanks
