Structural navigation link broken on Project Site
Hi, We have SharePoint Server 2019/ Project Server 2019/with PWA 2019 on Premise system. The Project site template is created using a “Save as Template” feature in classic experience to create a copy of a site, including its structure. We adjusted left navigation quick link menu for project site with Edit link (Drag and drop link here) The links were just indented and moved up/down. No new URL added or changed during the navigation menu adjustment. screenshot attached When a new project is created using a site template, we see 2 Project Detail page under navigation menu. the first Project Detail link on click goes outside the project into main Project center. The second Project Detail link takes to actual project detail page. The second Project Details link is outside the section and is added by the Project Server Project Site provisioning process. Screenshot for project site -> site setting -> navigation settings as shown below Any suggestion on how to fix the site template to show one Project detail page with correct link or how do we update the navigation post creation site as the site is created through template? Hi, I have Project Web App (PWA) 2019/Project Server 2019/SharePoint 2019 on premise installation. The Projects schedules are created through PWA. I have Risk list on PWA site collection. I want to capture risk for all projects in a single list. Our requirement is, the Project number drop down should be available on Quick edit/Datasheet view to enter multiple risks in a view. Project number is stored in PWA database as Enterprise custom field on project. I could add Project Number field to the list through external data (connecting to SQL server table). The field is populated in New and Edit form without any issue but In Quick edit/Datasheet view, the field is readonly and does not provide a drop down list. Power Apps is not an option for us. is there any other options, we could get Project numbers in a drop down list on Datasheet/Quick edit view? Thank you.
Timesheet - Options
Hi all, I have all the Administrator rights to edit PWA settings and I wanted to check if there is an option in 'Timesheets' to apply the changes to the what checkboxes can be ticked/unticked across the tenancy as an admin? I tried looking for option in Server Settings but no success. For eg: I am trying to get rid of the 'Planned' task option across the users. How can I do it please? We are looking at using SharePoint Designer 2013 to edit a PWA site hosted on SharePoint Online. We have issues with getting SharePoint Designer to change the design of the forms for lists. In general, it just is not functioning like it would with SharePoint 2013. What configurations are needed on SharePoint Online and on the PWA Online site collection are needed to get this functioning properly?
