public folders

I'm in the preparation stage of migrating our Public Folders from an on-premises Exchange 2016 CU19 server to Exchange Online. Running the SourceSiceValidation.ps1 script outputs several orphaned MEPFs in our Active Directory, and I get a similar output from the ValidateMailEnabledPublicFolders.ps1. The recommendation is to delete the orphaned MEPFs, but I'm running into an oddity that I just don't feel comfortable deleting. There's a PublicFolder named "Schema" in our MESO OU, and it just feels wrong to delete anything named "Schema" in a database. Dear community, Im trying to do someting and I hope that i can get the answer here! Me and my colleague are responsible for replying to emails in a shared Outlook folder. I want to be able to read my colleague's replies to some of the emails for training purposes. I want to be notified or have my colleague's replies sent to a specific folder. I am open to different methods of selecting which emails answer's I want to read, such as assigning a category. Essentially, I am seeking a way to monitor and access my colleague's replies to certain emails in the shared Outlook folder for training purposes without having to keep in mind which email's replies I want to read. How can this be done?421Views0likes0CommentsDeletion of old mail public folders - Exchange 2013 to 1029
Hey all me again! Have migrated from Exchange 2013 to 2019. 2019 is now doing everything. We had used Public Folders in the past but no more. All the folders themselves are gone but there remains some some mail objects that must have been associated. Some I can see were created by us so I have been running disable-mailpublicfolder to delete them. Some have scary names like StoreEvents{395FEF93-3631-4CC3-A8BC-BDD0F7AF32A3}, OAB Version 2, OAB Version 4, microsoft, default, globalevents, schema-root, Offline Address Book. Is it safe to just delete these, then delete the Public Folder Mailbox? get-publicFolder -recurse -ResultSize:Unlimited Name Parent Path ---- ----------- IPM_SUBTREE cheers j1.7KViews0likes1CommentOutlook Preview - Subfolders Within Public Folders Not Appearing Within the Directory
Hello, I just enabled the Outlook preview, and I am unable to see any of the subfolders in the list of public folders within our organization. Is this a known issue/bug, or are the way public folders shown going to be deprecated in this upcoming release? I was trying to find any specific documentation related to changes being made to this feature, but I couldn't find anything specific. Does anyone know exactly what level of admin permissions are required to update settings of 'mail enabled public folders in Exchange Online admin center'? We have assigned 'Recipient Management' to our selected admins. However, where this role works when admins try to modify settings of a non-mail enabled Public Folder, it results in '500 Unexpected Error' when admin tries to open edit settings of a mail-enabled Public folder.Solved1.3KViews0likes1CommentEmpty ‘CN=Servers’ Container Causing Issues with Public Folders on Small Business Server 2011
