After OneDrive Mac runs for some length of time, I am unable to open OneDrive Settings when I click on the gear icon (from the Mac menubar). If I Quit the app and reopen it then I am able to click on the gear icon to open Settings. This has been happening for several months now through different versions of OneDrive. Please advise on how to fix. https://leeassoccre-my.sharepoint.com/:v:/g/personal/martukovich_lee-associates_com/EUe76lRs0L1EvowGRdiboSYBvpp9s4eCwuQFDgwckRIjVw?e=F3ByiT to a video showing me clicking over the gear icon without it opening. For some reason, files in my some of my OneDrive folders are appearing in others. In most cases, they are not moving over from their original folders. They are still in the original folders but also popping up elsewhere. When I try to open them, most won't open. When you try to open photos that have duplicated in another folder, you're told "this file doesn't have a preview we can show you" and Word documents won't open with the message "sorry, this document can't be opened for editing". But I have come across one instance where a photo in a folder is copied in the same folder but with a completely different name of another t file from another folder. that did open. What is going on?Solved545Views0likes3CommentsSync Up Episode 16: Let that Sync In

Hello all. I am having an issue with using OneDrive on Mac. If I open a file, say a Word doc or PowerPoint, on OneDrive through Finder, the Autosave feature will not be on by default. If I do the same action on Windows through file explorer, it opens with Autosave turned on. When I try to turn on Autosave in Word, it prompts me to upload a new version onto OneDrive. This would make a new copy. And that new copy, if opened from Finder, still will not have autosave turned on. However, when I open the file from within the Word application or Excel or PowerPoint, autosave is turned on automatically. I would like for files opened from my OneDrive folder in Finder to open with Autosave turned on by default. This is how it works on Windows.342Views0likes1CommentLatest release for MacOS (23.189.0910.0001) - perpetual re-synchronisation of every file?
Mac Studio Apple M2 Max running latest MacOS 13.5.2 (22G91) Following installation of the latest version of the OneDrive app (23.189.0910.0001), OneDrive did a full re-synchronisation of each file, processing ~280,000 changes. Left the app to do its thing. 12-15 hours later, all files sync'd. Shut down overnight. Rebooted. All good. Shut down overnight. Rebooted. Another full synchronisation. Catalina Client with fresh Office install OD Client logs in, but gives user almost no options in Preferences. Especially no Files-on-Demand (just what I need!) It is possible that my Fortigate firewall filters cause it, but why would be no display in interface?
