Unable to open OneDrive Settings via gear icon in Mac menubar
After OneDrive Mac runs for some length of time, I am unable to open OneDrive Settings when I click on the gear icon (from the Mac menubar). If I Quit the app and reopen it then I am able to click on the gear icon to open Settings. This has been happening for several months now through different versions of OneDrive. Opening OneDrive files from Finder on Mac does not enable Autosave like on Windows.
Hello all. I am having an issue with using OneDrive on Mac. If I open a file, say a Word doc or PowerPoint, on OneDrive through Finder, the Autosave feature will not be on by default. If I do the same action on Windows through file explorer, it opens with Autosave turned on. When I try to turn on Autosave in Word, it prompts me to upload a new version onto OneDrive. This would make a new copy. And that new copy, if opened from Finder, still will not have autosave turned on. However, when I open the file from within the Word application or Excel or PowerPoint, autosave is turned on automatically. I would like for files opened from my OneDrive folder in Finder to open with Autosave turned on by default. Mac Studio Apple M2 Max running latest MacOS 13.5.2 (22G91) Following installation of the latest version of the OneDrive app (23.189.0910.0001), OneDrive did a full re-synchronisation of each file, processing ~280,000 changes. Left the app to do its thing. 12-15 hours later, all files sync'd. Shut down overnight. Rebooted. All good. Shut down overnight. Rebooted. Another full synchronisation. Catalina Client with fresh Office install OD Client logs in, but gives user almost no options in Preferences. Especially no Files-on-Demand (just what I need!) It is possible that my Fortigate firewall filters cause it, but why would be no display in interface?
