network

I've got a situation where User-A is joining a Teams Meeting hosted by Company-B. They join via the browser as an external guest since they're in different tenants, and User A states that their Teams meeting keeps getting dropped. Would this indicate an issue with the local network for User-A, or is this an issue with the connection on Company-B Teams? I've searched and haven't found any posts that cover this. Note: User-A hasn't tried dialing into the meeting to see if they also experience the same issue.895Views0likes1CommentQuestion about Teams QoS guidance - port range sizes
In the Teams QoS documentation there are a couple pieces of information that I have questions about: "Selecting a port range that is too narrow will lead to dropped calls and poor call quality. The recommendations below should be a bare minimum." - I was planning on using the default 50000:50019, 50020:50039, 50040:50059 ranges. Is there guidance for taking a more educated guess at these port ranges?Solved3.3KViews0likes2CommentsNew Teams Network Planner
Are there plans for the Network Planner to be more feature rich? Right now I am looking through it, and personas for one just has on/off, no indication of how much a persona might use a modality. Also regardless of PSTN type (calling plans or Direct Routing), it shows 0 bandwidth used for PSTN, and the persona being used for the calculations are Office Worker with PSTN on. Is this just the first iteration of the new network planner, or is this pretty much what we'll get? Is this the recommended way for a company planning a Teams migration to estimate bandwidth impact? I think the network planner in MyAdvisor was much better.2.2KViews1like1Comment
