As per MS communication incoming webhook connector url is changing, We are in process of communicating to our end user for same, hence as an admin we what to identify for which channels this incoming webhook is configured. we are able to get information from teams powershell for which team it is configured but not channel. Is there a way (powershell/ms graph/any Api) to find out for which channel this webhook connector is configured ?5.7KViews3likes3CommentsOrganization Chat Logs? And, local document control? For Administrators.
The company I work for is considering switching to MS Teams and I have been tasked with researching it's functionality compared to our current solutions. Teams could potentially replace our chat client, Teamwork.com (our project management solution), and provide solutions to scheduling and collaboration. I hope it's ok to ask two questions in one post. If not, I'll be happy to delete this thread and start 2 new ones. If we deploy MS teams to 50-100 users, is there a way for our MS Admin to store all chat logs for all employees/users? The reason we use our current chat client internally is because it allows us to save all the company chat logs to a single location. These chat logs are searchable by date of chat, user, and keywords. If we want to sync MS teams with local files, on a shared drive on a server, or on a user's PC, is that possible? If so, how would it manage file saving, locations, and versions (in the case where multiple users might be working on the same document for example)? At the last company I worked for we used teams for file collaboration, but all those files were online IIRC, whereas at this company everything is stored initially on local drives, which are backed up with 3x redundancy locally and in the cloud every night. These are the 2 primary questions which I couldn't find a lot of information online about. Any input is appreciated. Hi All, I have a requirement where our azure Logic App will create a new MS Teams, add members into MS Teams and add channel into same MS Teams. Now my next requirement is I want to start a call immediately in the same channel which we have created using Logic App and also this should be done in the same logic app job which we have build for creating MS Teams and channel. As I know there is no separate connector available in Azure logic app to achieve this functionality. So, I dig a little bit and I found below approach. 1. Register a new application using the Azure portal. 2. Get the token from application. 3. Use below rest API method. https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/me/onlineMeetings 4. Provide details in the body like start time, end time etc. 5. Call above rest API using azure logic app. So, from the above steps my question is, in the body section where we have included start time, end time etc. can we include same participants which we have added in MS Teams while creating azure logic app. If yes, then how? If it is possible then the flow of my Azure Logic App will be as follow. Create MS Teams --> Add Members into Teams --> Create Channel --> Post the messages into channel --> Call the Graph API (https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/me/onlineMeetings) Note:- As soon as Azure Logic App execution is completed it should start a call immediately.1.1KViews0likes0CommentsLync 2010 sever decommission without Hybrid Deployment in place
Hi All, I need your inputs in the lync server decommission from On premises environment. We have users enabled in Lync on premises server and the users got synced to Azure AD has enabled with MS teams license as well. For a short period of time, users were using both On premises lync and MS teams. Please note, there is No Lync hybrid deployment in my environment. To avoid users from connecting lync on premise server, We have removed Skype for business client from all the users machine. Now we wanted to remove Lync ON premise servers from the environment, We are planning to use the below article for Lync server 2010 decommission. https://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/29088.lync-20102013-step-by-step-server-decommissioning.aspx Before i proceed with this article, I wanted to understand the following queries. 1. In my current setup if i execute disbale-Csuser against my users does it cause any issues for users using MS teams. 2. Does the steps covered in this article is suffice or any additional recommendation you want me to follow before lync server decommission. 3. I am panning to shutdown the lync servers to understand the dependency part. Is there any better ways to achieve this.581Views0likes0Comments"Mute All" option not available to Presenter
I wanted to create a meeting where only few people (some from my organization and some from outside) should be able to present content, thus I've created a new meeting with option "Who can present?" limited to "only me". Later, during the meeting, I'll promote some to presenter. But when I've promoted one member (outside my organization) to presenter , he is not seeing MUTE ALL option. As per the following document he/she should see this option for muting all participant. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/roles-in-a-teams-meeting-c16fa7d0-1666-4dde-8686-0a0bfe16e019?ui=en-us&rs=en-us&ad=us Please help.
