I just noticed that the permissions for deleting projects in Project Web App Online (PWA) are not working correctly. It's been a long time since I reviewed this option, but it seems to me that there have been changes that damaged this functionality. I have the following scenario: 1. An example user is associated with the “Project Managers” Group 2. The “Project Managers” Group has permissions on the “My Projects” Category 3. One of the permissions that the “Project Managers” Group has on the “My Projects” Category is “Delete project” 4. I have verified that there are no other “Deny” type permissions for that user in any group or category. There is no “Deny” 5. User cannot delete own projects from project center 6. User also cannot delete their own projects from PWA settings 7. Admin user and other users with admin permissions can delete any projectSolved1.5KViews0likes1CommentMS Project sync to Modern SP
Hi, I have a SharePoint list which has been synced from MS Project. It's currently in Classic style (Old Style). When I tried to switch to Modern style in SharePoint, all my Tasks name corrupted. Is it possible to have a "project"-look in a list in Modern style? (I want to keep the different indent levels as I have in the classic style list.)609Views0likes0CommentsMS Project 'Project has Stopped Working’ upon saving file back to SharePoint
As of this week, our field workers have recently been bombarded with ‘Project has Stopped Working’ when they attempt to update MS Project file back into SharePoint. It would allow them to check out the document, but after making changes, when they save and check the file back in, they get the error. Has anyone else had that issues? They are either using their MyFi or their smartphones as hotspots. Don't know if that makes any difference.1.9KViews0likes2Comments
