lag
6 TopicsLaggy typing in MacOS
This seems to be a well documented issue caused by CPU usage spikes. Typing lags constantly in teams, perhaps once every 5 to 10 seconds, regardless of background CPU usage. I'll be typing a message and hit enter to post it, and start typing another one only to find the start of my next sentence has been included in the first message because Teams has lagged. I've checked activity monitor and can see noticeable spikes caused by the 'Microsoft Teams Helper' process. When does Microsoft plan to fix this? I would have thought this issue to be paramount given that Teams is a messaging program which is seemingly incapable of doing its primary task in any sort of proficiency. Hello, one of our customer reports lagging video in Microsoft Teams since some weeks. Shared screens and cameras are freezing for 20-30 seconds sometimes so following a presentation is nearly impossible. We tried the following to solve this issue: - uninstalled Teams from Control Panel, then deleted all Teams folders under %APPDATA% and %LOCALAPPDATA%, then reinstalled MS Teams with newest installer - logged in with a different user on the same machine, installed MS Teams, still no difference - disabled GPU hardware acceleration - uninstalled Ethernet drivers, tried official drivers from Fujitsu (as this is a Fujitsu Notebook) and after this didn't solve the issue the drivers for the specific adapter from Intel itself - Reset network stack (netsh int ip reset tcpreset.txt) - uninstalled Sophos SSL VPN client (reinstalled it after testing) - tried a different Laptop on same ethernet, this one doesn't have this issue with same Microsoft ID - tried ethernet connection in a different network directly attached to a completly different internet connection and router, still the same issue - tried Teams via built in LTE on the affected machine, no issue! It seems to be an ethernet issue on that machine So it seems that Teams has a problem with that specific ethernet connection on that laptop. Every connection works fine (VoIP via VPN, Remote Desktop via VPN, GoToMeeting/Zoom/...). What could cause this issue? Thanks in advance30KViews1like5CommentsLag on NV24 Session Host in WVD
We have a WVD Host pool Windows 10 Multiuser with FSLOGIX as the profile provider. Current Environment is 7 x NV24 VM, limited to 20 users per host in USW2 Standard Microsoft 365 Apps (Word, Excel, Outlook). Teams for Chat. Not integrating voice. OneDrive. IBM Access Client Solutions (5250 Emulation) UDP Shortpath disabled. 10 Locations, Fiber 10MB Connection to Internet. HQ is 100MB Fiber and has same issue. 120 users. We have users across the board that experience lag throughout the day between 5 and 30 seconds. When it occurs, we hear from multiple users that are connected to the same session host. When it occurs, CPU/Memory is below 30%. Servers are updated monthly, FSL and GPU Drivers are current. Remote Desktop Client is current. We have opened a ticket with MS several months ago, and are still fighting to get someone to own it. We have heard the standard "it is bandwidth, we don't see anything, not our group", etc. We have captured logs during a user lag and sent them. But they can find anything. They keep pointing to client, network even though we have told them when it happens it happens to multiple users on same server who are in different office locations. We migrated from RDS in Azure using NV12 VM's and could get 30-35 users per server with no lag. We did have other issues where a server would randomly reboot in RDS, but I would take that compared to this. Open to any suggestions from other NV Series WVD users who have experienced same. Thanks.. James1.6KViews0likes3CommentsTeams Lag on PC but not on a laptop
Hello all. I have been seeing an issue with Teams being a bit laggy when using my desktop with a webcam plugged in and audio from an ear piece. However, when I switch to a laptop, there is not lag on either video or audio. My desktop is less than a year old. Bandwidth is no issue for my company. The laptop is on wifi and the desktop is on a network. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.1.3KViews0likes1CommentBottom Download bar lag 4-5sec
See the green progress bar in the edge icon has already started but download bar is not appearing yet there is aleast 4-5 sec lag which is not tolerable(400-500ms is OK). To reproduce this lag try downloading a file from OneDrive/Google Drive with a bunch of tabs. (*I have not closed the downloads bar) (*In built gamebar doesnot record the taskbar and I donot want to waste time in installing a screen recorder because it is very easy to reproduce)6.4KViews0likes24CommentsWindows 10 Preview Build 17692 application compatibility.
Some applications do not work correctly in Build 17692. Some applications cause huge UI lag or fail to open, sometimes user has to end the problematic application in task manager. Previous builds have no problems with this bug. More information here, also applies to all Windows 10 versions Build 17692: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Windows-Server-Insiders/Windows-Server-2019-Preview-Build-17692-application/m-p/2063991KViews0likes0Comments
