I want to be able to group app icons on Start menu - Windows 11
for example I want to put PWAs icons in one group, put Photo related app/software icons in another group and so on. Allow Call feature on Your Phone app to work WITHOUT Bluetooth. use it over INTERNET or WIFI my PC has no Bluetooth, majority of PCs don't, only laptops have it. it shouldn't be necessary to use Bluetooth to use call functionality in the Your Phone app. please let us answer or initiate calls over Internet/4G/WiFi/Local network. I use night light every night but I want it to automatically disable when I launch games (in full screen) and then re-enable when I exit the game. it doesn't look good in games when night light is on so it'd be great if it automatically turned itself off in games. Windows Insider build 18945: Text cursor randomly appears in places where it shouldn't
Enabled text cursor and chose a custom color for it. now just randomly on some apps like Mail or Google chrome etc, the text cursor appears. sometime it's big like a vertical thin line and sometimes it's small in its normal size. I will post screenshots as soon as possible. my GPU is Intel 630 inside a 7700K. graphic driver installed and is latest version. The image below is a cropped screenshot showing a part of my desktop and you can see the text cursor with its custom color shows up in a very odd place. though usually with a few random mouse movements it disappears. The Image below is a screenshot taken when browsing this same post inside Google Chrome Canary. and you can see that weird text cursor.
Windows 11 not updating to Windows 11 Insider Preview Feature Update (26220.7051)
Respected Madams/Sirs, I am facing a very unexpected problem while updating to Windows 11 Insider Preview Feature Update (26220.7051), which encounters an error and says, "couldn't extend system reserved partition". My disk has a lot of free space available, but the EFI, of course, was full with 6mb left, so I had to extend its capacity. To fix this, I tried numerous methods, but they eventually proved fruitless. Tried extending the EFI size (currently 100 MB) using GParted, but couldn't, so created a new EFI with a 500 MB size. Executed the necessary steps and commands to make sure the computer used the new EFI as its primary EFI. The computer boots using the new EFI, but the update error hasn't gone. Tried clearing unnecessary files from the original EFI. Nothing worked. Tried cleaning my hard disk, which of course might not be the key for this since the error is related to EFI, not the hard disk itself. Still, nothing worked. To put it short, I may have tried every method possible, but nothing has worked. I urgently require assistance. My current Windows version is Windows 11 Home, version 24H2, OS build is 26120.6982, on a Dell Inspiron Laptop Please help. There needs to be a way to view available digital licenses inside our Microsoft account, I think in Windows settings => update and security => Activation would be the most suitable place. it has benefits, the most important one is so user can see their available licenses in their Microsoft account and make a wise decision based on that info. please upvote this feedback in feedback hub: https://aka.ms/AAbdhftWIF Build 19592: Icons on taskbar sometimes get replaced
I noticed sometimes icons of the Pinned programs on the taskbar get a while background around them, like this: and in some cases the icon itself is replaced with this placeholder (this is File Explorer) I haven't submitted a feedback on Feedback hub app yet, they happen very randomly at the moment and they are fixed usually after a minute or two. anyone else experiencing the same thing on this build?[FIXED] Anyone else having OneDrive high CPU usage problem after upgrading to build 19564?
