Upon downloading and installing I am assuming the new insider build for April 25th. After I did a restart to apply said update, it started to go flash a GSOD. I tried to use the Windows Repair as well tried to uninstall the updates, as well tried to do a system restore. Repair failed. I can't reinstall Windows while keeping my items, uninstall QL update just doesn't work. The uninstall feature update just fails. I can't even boot into safe mode. It's like the whole system's Window 11 install just crapped itself. All over an insider update. I had this laptop part of it for years, never seen it do this. Do I have to find a way to back everything up and reinstall Windows? I've been trying to install this for over a week. The update installs and prompts for a reboot, but during the next stage it fails, reverts the changes, and reboots again. That leads into the Advanced Recovery Options, but selecting Exit and Continue to Windows 11 works. I ran the SetupDiag tool and it seems to be failing at this step: SetupDiag: processing rule: FindRollbackFailure. ..... Error: SetupDiag reports rollback failure found. I started having this issue in December, and finally had a time to try and resolve it today. I contacted support and they said since I'm in the Windows Insider Program, the only support is through this forum. Camera and Audio In early December, my camera stopped working in both Teams and Zoom. Didn't think much of it at the time, but it is persistent, and now I'm doing all my video calls on my iPad. File Explorer - When I click on File Explorer, my display flashes for a second and doesn't do anything. I can get to my files by opening up Control Panel, and then hitting the up arrow to get to my folders. Corrupted Files - I ran a scan in the command prompt (sfc /snannow) and received the following messages (Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log.) - I have the log from today Repair Not working - I went through a whole repair process and tried to reinstall the bad files, but that failed. I almost bricked my OS and lucky to be back where I am. Hi! I'm using Windows 11 Insider build. I left insider mode a few weeks ago, but the Insider option says "Leave Insider Program. I click on "Leave", then a browser shows "This email address is not registered as a Windows Insider." How can I permanently leave this Insider program? If I restart the computer, would that help? I was exploring the Windows Insider Program settings and noticed a channel called Canary. Out of curiosity, I switched to the Canary channel, which prompted an update. After completing the update and restarting my PC, I noticed some things seemed off, and certain features weren’t functioning properly. When I tried to switch back to the Dev or Beta channels, I realized I wasn’t allowed to change channels from Canary. I’d appreciate your help in resolving this issue without resetting my PC.39Views0likes0CommentsMovies & TV app should be able to resume videos from where we left off
