Working with Windows365 on my iPad Pro is amazing but it will be perfect if Remote Desktop app use the full size of the screen using external monitor. Jump Remote Desktop have this capability but you can not connect to Windows365. As i said.. it wil be the ideal world o have my Win365 on the iPad using external monitor with full size screen.16KViews53likes33CommentsFull screen on Ipad OS
The RDP Client currently does not support true full screen with IPAD OS, leading to a lot of the display for externally connected monitors to not be used well. Teams and Outlook seem to support the extended displays better, so it would much appreciated on RDP Client as well2KViews35likes4CommentsiOS RDP app support external screen
It would be nice if the iOS RDP app could offer better support for a external display. Some other apps like shiftscreen do this but do not have RDP client support. With this added you could connect a display to your device and use RDP full screen at the external displays resolution.1.3KViews16likes4CommentsSync for Remote Desktop Connections
It would be really cool if the macOS and iOS clients of Microsoft Remote Desktop sync'd the remote desktops along with passwords via iCloud (or even some other service / mechanism, but iCloud preferred). I maintain a fairly large number of servers for clients and use multiple computers / iOS devices in my day to day work. It would be great if the Remote Desktop lists were in sync across all of my devices.2.4KViews15likes5CommentsiPad support for Smart Card pass-through in RD Client
I previously replied to an older post (ipad-os-rdp-smart-card-using-function) requesting iPadOS RD Client support for smart card credential pass-through. The original requested never replied to answer which smart card device they were using on iOS (iPadOS in my case). I utilize RD Client on my iPad Pro to access my Azure Virtual Desktop work environment but am severely workflow-limited without this smart card pass-through functionality (unable to utilize signing, encryption, and PIV certificates maintained on my smart card). Multiple smart card devices attempted: - Thursby TSS-PK2 (firmware ver > 4.20) - Bluetooth 4.2 Smart Card Reader (from twocanoes.com) - FEITIAN iR301 Mobile Lightning Reader (from twocanoes.com) I can successfully use the above smart card devices individually on my iPad Pro (outside of RD Client) with the Safari web browser or integrated Thursby “Sub Rosa” iOS app but this leaves an incomplete workflow without full functionality. Please consider adding this functionality to your road-map.2.8KViews12likes10CommentsAdvanced keyboard support for iPad
Hey guys! 1. I use vim-like keyboard plugins in IDEs so I rely on key repeat a lot. Currently RD client on iPad with external keyboard doesn’t transmit key repeat. For example if you press and hold “j” key it will not be repeated. Please implement the workaround for this feature inside the app (e.g. see how it works in Blink Shell iPad app). Possible “hacks” for that here https://github.com/ish-app/ish/issues/454#issuecomment-739584467 2. I have custom key bindings on my windows with autohotkey. For example, I use “esc + j” for down arrow; “esc + y” for home, etc. These are essential on small keyboard like the magic keyboard. All of this doesn’t work with RD client because it looks like it doesn’t transmit key combintations like that. Please implement this feature (e .g. see how it works in Jump desktop app).2.1KViews12likes3Comments
