I've created a simple app using App Studio. It's basically 2 tabs that display 2 different SharePoint sites. I installed the app successfully, but when I access the app in Teams desktop, both tabs are blank. When I access the same app thru Teams in the browser, it displays both tabs/sites correctly. Has anyone seen this or know of a way to fix the issue? Most of our users use the desktop Teams app to access Teams. Hi all, I'm having an issue on teams, where images uploaded from a mobile phone (.jpg's) download on a computer as .png 's . When I open them in Photoshop I get the error that's attached. I've gone manually through file explorer and renamed the extension on the downloaed image back to .jpg and that solves the problem. But this is a major issue for my team, as one of our primary uses for teams was to be sending images from phones into chats to be downloaded and edited... Any tips? I have tried: Manually changing the image handing settings in teams to upload full-size images (this does result in a full-size image, but still has a filename change) Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated! Thank You.Solved54KViews3likes29CommentsAccessing a Teams Meeting
I have two Microsoft Teams accounts a personal account with 365 (so the paid version of Teams) and a work account which is the free version of Teams. Note: both accounts use the same email (I suspect this maybe the root cause of my issues). When I create a meeting using my personal account all is good in terms of access. When a 3rd party invites me to a meeting I have problems access the meeting via my App. (I've been onto Microsoft Support and they reloaded the App but I still have the issue). I've tried clicking the link, "Join via a meeting ID" but nothing seems to work. I have access via the web but that seems to be a bit hit and miss, some time it works and some times it doesn't. I only have this issue on the desktop, I can assess meetings via my phone using the Teams App without a problem. This isn't ideal for sharing screens etc., so really need to resolve this issue on my desktop. I just want to be able to consistently access meetings either via my personal (paid) version or my work (free) version. At the moment I actually don't know until I try (and often fail) to join. Any advice/things to try would be great. Thanks in advance,632Views0likes0CommentsTeams stops working when I switch accounts
I have to switch regularly between my university staff account and my student account for classes and meetings on Teams, but I've found when I log out of one account and try to login with another it only works maybe half the time? It'll take a long time to load on the second login and then when it finally logs in, usually it will just show a blank white screen. Sometimes restarting the computer will jumpstart it, but usually it'll just stay a white screen until I uninstall the program entirely and reinstall it. It's incredibly frustrating and I've been having this problem for a year.Solved4.8KViews0likes3CommentsOn my new macbook incoming screenshares are very low quality (for me only)
I've been trying to search for an answer but I'm not sure what keywords to use, so let me know if this is a duplicate of other threads or solves on this forum. Recently I was sent a new laptop from work as the keyboard on my 2018 Macbook Pro died. The new one is the M1 2021 Macbook Pro on Monterey 12.2.1. When I fired up teams for a meeting, the quality my incoming screenshares is awful and basically illegible if the sharer doesn't zoom to at least 150%. I seem to be the only person experiencing this on calls. Testing with my co-workers I have discovered the following things: 1. It is only me who experiences this low quality within meetings with multiple people from my work 2. Different computers within my network can get onto the calls and see the screen fine 3. It was fine on my previous work laptop and i had used both on my home network within the same calendar day 4. My down / up speeds were 600/100 mbps during this testing, so it isn't network latency 5. Incoming video / webcam feeds are fine or the same as before, it is only for screenshared content I've tried with the GPU acceleration on and off with no difference, and can't seem to find any other settings within teams I can alter to try and troubleshoot. Are their mac specific settings I should be altering to try and resolve this? Any feedback or assistance would be greatly appreciated.1.4KViews0likes3Comments[Help] Microsoft Teams offers to transfer call from device that I'm not using
Hello everyone. I was using Microsoft Teams on my cellphone when suddenly the app closed and once I opened it again it gave the option to transfer the call to "this" device (my cellphone which I was currently using) or to stay in the other device. The thing is, I was not using any other device. I do have MT registered on my PC but it was closed. Has this happened to any of you? Why does this happen?905Views0likes1CommentNotifications from Planner in Teams
I am setting up a checklist system in teams using planner, whenever some comments on a 'task' it sends an email to all those assigned to the task. Is there any way to switch this off, and only have it come up as a notification on the teams app. We would like to avoid spamming emails as this system will be used quite often, but it is important that a notification is received by the assigned members (preferably on teams) when someone comments on the task.13KViews1like4CommentsMicrosoft Teams Microphone Problems for Outgoing Calls
I have one user in my environment running into a very strange microphone issue. Whenever he gets an incoming call everything works great. When he makes an outgoing call he cannot hear anything the other person in the call can say and then the call fails and closes. I have reinstalled Teams, deleted the cache, updated the OS (Windows 10) to the latest version, updated all device drivers, verified device settings in the teams app including device settings in a call. It also fails to call sometimes when he tried to do a screen share as well while other times it works. It the call logs in teams admin center for the user is reports everything as working perfect. I also have a log attached here for the user on his computer. The date on the log is the 16th,@ 9:27 I had a failure in an outgoing call and then a success at an incoming. Not sure if these log can identify the issue but i was unable to locate what the problem is. Thank You -Mike10KViews1like5Comments
