Hi all, I'm having an issue on teams, where images uploaded from a mobile phone (.jpg's) download on a computer as .png 's . When I open them in Photoshop I get the error that's attached. I've gone manually through file explorer and renamed the extension on the downloaed image back to .jpg and that solves the problem. But this is a major issue for my team, as one of our primary uses for teams was to be sending images from phones into chats to be downloaded and edited... Any tips? I have tried: Manually changing the image handing settings in teams to upload full-size images (this does result in a full-size image, but still has a filename change) Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated! Thank You.Solved55KViews3likes29CommentsI can't add members to private channels!

I've created a simple app using App Studio. It's basically 2 tabs that display 2 different SharePoint sites. I installed the app successfully, but when I access the app in Teams desktop, both tabs are blank. When I access the same app thru Teams in the browser, it displays both tabs/sites correctly. Has anyone seen this or know of a way to fix the issue? Most of our users use the desktop Teams app to access Teams. I need to create a Teams meeting invite using Calendar where the candidate being interviewed has to wait in the lobby until they are permitted into the meeting by the hosts. How exactly do I do this with Calendar? Supposedly it has something to do with the specific Teams link of the meeting.28KViews0likes1CommentNotifications from Planner in Teams
I am setting up a checklist system in teams using planner, whenever some comments on a 'task' it sends an email to all those assigned to the task. Is there any way to switch this off, and only have it come up as a notification on the teams app. We would like to avoid spamming emails as this system will be used quite often, but it is important that a notification is received by the assigned members (preferably on teams) when someone comments on the task.13KViews1like4CommentsMs Planner Not Loading In Teams App

I have one user in my environment running into a very strange microphone issue. Whenever he gets an incoming call everything works great. When he makes an outgoing call he cannot hear anything the other person in the call can say and then the call fails and closes. I have reinstalled Teams, deleted the cache, updated the OS (Windows 10) to the latest version, updated all device drivers, verified device settings in the teams app including device settings in a call. It also fails to call sometimes when he tried to do a screen share as well while other times it works. It the call logs in teams admin center for the user is reports everything as working perfect. I also have a log attached here for the user on his computer. The date on the log is the 16th, @ 9:27 I had a failure in an outgoing call and then a success at an incoming. Not sure if these log can identify the issue but i was unable to locate what the problem is. Thank You -Mike10KViews1like5CommentsIncoming video doesn't always show on Teams for Mac
I've got two mac users in my organization, my CEO, and myself (so i can support the CEO apparently), and occasionally we both have an issue where in a 1-1 video call, the incoming video doesn't always come up. This happens initiating or receiving a video call, but to my knowledge has not occurred for a 'scheduled meeting'. I have remoted into the other end and verified that their video is indeed turned on, and they can see themselves. i have heard reports that if the call goes on long enough, eventually the video will appear (haven't seen this one myself, only had reports from the CEO). I have had the far end disable video and reenable, i have tried disabling incoming video and reenabling on the near end but that hasn't brought video up. the only solution seems to be to hang up, and call again... then usually both sides can see eachother. The CEO has reported that other staff have had the issue on windows, but i have not heard from anyone else in the organization. There was one instance of a call between the CEO and I. She called me, could not see me, we hung up and i called her, i could not see her, hung up and she called again, then we could both see eachother. i've ruled out network, as it's happened both at home (on and off VPN), and in the office, and it happens with the CEO's personal mac as well as her work macbook. Anyone have any suggestions? I've got O365 support stumped6.6KViews0likes4CommentsTrying to set a meeting, "mailbox not found" error .. so frustrated with everything Microsoft!
HI, I am trying to set up Microsoft Teams for our Youth Sports Organization. We are a not for profit and qualify for a business account. I have gone through the set up and have attempted to get Teams to work. Everything about this process is not user friendly at all. I can open teams, I can see that I am the only user in it. I don't want to add other users until I can test out teams etc. I am trying to test a Teams Meeting by sending my personal email account an invite to attend but I keep getting the error "mailbox not found" or something like that. Why can't this process be easier!!!???? Google was a piece of cake, this is a million different screens, settings that don't make sense and I cannot even locate settings to allow outside/public to attend live events ... Please help!!!6.2KViews0likes2CommentsAccessing Team through Mobile with no App
Hi all, The company I work for has decided to start using Teams instead of face-to-face training. As it's quite a large company (over 1600 staff) it's not really feasible to expect them all to download the App on mobile. Is it possible to use the internet browser on your phone to join a meeting? I've tried inviting my own personal email account and all it says is 'Safari cannot open the page because the address is invalid' so I've tried opening it in Microsoft Edge and Chrome (on mobile) which tells me I've got to install the Teams app, no option to join via the website. When I download the app it works fine, but like I said, people aren't going to want to download the app for a one off training session? I'm very new to Teams so anything you can suggest would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dan5KViews0likes2Comments
