Allow Call feature on Your Phone app to work WITHOUT Bluetooth. use it over INTERNET or WIFI my PC has no Bluetooth, majority of PCs don't, only laptops have it. it shouldn't be necessary to use Bluetooth to use call functionality in the Your Phone app. please let us answer or initiate calls over Internet/4G/WiFi/Local network. Bring back the ability to hold Shift + click on pinned icons on Taskbar to open multiple instances of the app Windows 10 has this useful feature but it's missing in Windows 11, where you could hold Shift and then click (left-click) on a pinned app icon on taskbar that is already open, in order to open another instance of the app. for example the file explorer, browser, media player, text editor, calculator and so on. Just like in VMware products, Hyper-V needs USB device passthrough, so that we can connect our USB device (USB network adapter, USB flash storage, USB printers etc.) straight to the guest OS VM such as Windows and Linux Upvote this on Feedback hub: https://aka.ms/AAa8gcl1.6KViews2likes1CommentXbox app is missing a lot of features from Xbox console companion
Xbox console companion app which is being depreciated and retired, has still a lot of useful features such as clubs, screenshot uploads, friends activity, uploading your own custom photo as avatar, viewing captures etc etc Xbox app has none of these, yet every time I open Xbox console companion app it says use Xbox app instead, I'm worried that none of these features are going to be added to the new Xbox app. I highly depend on these features and they are important ones. I need a Windows 11 Widget that tracks and shows prices for Cryptocurrencies, not the regular stock markets. if you're interested, please upvote this in feedback hub: https://aka.ms/AAddmqf11KViews1like0CommentsAdd "Show Windows push notification" as a selectable action to Task Schedular
*the options for email and displaying message are unusable since they are deprecated, you get error if you try to use them. I need to create tasks in Windows Task Scheduler and see Windows push notifications in action center when that task's criteria is met or triggered. another one is that I need to attach a Task to Windows Event Viewer and once an event entry is created in the custom logs, I get notified by a notification in Windows. please upvote in feedback hub: https://aka.ms/AAbzrjw849Views1like0CommentsShow device's private IP address and Public IP address next to PC name in Windows Settings
Show device's private IP address and Public IP address next to PC name in Windows Settings => System => Remote Desktop for faster and easier connection and usage. it makes sense to show them next to PC name, because remote desktop apps on other devices such as phones accept those 3 types of methods to find and connect to PC, but in Windows settings only 1 of them is shown. if you want to find the private IP address that DHCP gives you, you have to do extra work and get it from properties of network adapter etc. or to find your public IP address you have to use a 3rd party website or service. so, it all makes sense and makes things easier to have all 3 pieces of information right in the Windows Settings. I've tested this myself and have had other people test it in my presence too, and in different network conditions, having all 3 pieces of information is always useful and necessary for Remote desktop connection. Add my day's To-Do list items to the Agenda section of Windows 10, when clicking on time and date at the bottom right corner in Windows 10 I want to see my To-Do list items for today. currently the only way to view my To-Do list is to open the full app on Windows 10 or go to the website using the browser. if I could see them in the Agenda section in Windows 10, it would be a great reminder and I could see what I have to do for today. I know we can set notifications and reminders for each To-Do list item individually but that's Not what I need. the Agenda section in Windows 10 already shows the Calendar events but I don't use Calendar events that much and I rare have any events to set on my Windows 10 Calendar and when I do, they are for future, like 2 months later, 6 weeks later etc. showing To-Do list items in Agenda section would be convenient and it also Belongs to Agenda. Calendar events And To-Do list items of the day can both be displayed in Agenda. Uinstalling programs should be handled from within the Settings app, not control panel Right-clicking on non-store programs (such as those installing from websites, basically Win32 programs) in start menu should launch that program's uninstaller instead of opening control panel. right now what is happening is that the control panel is opened then nothing else. user must go and find the program from the list, click on uninstall and continue from there. this all should be handled with the Settings app and right-clicking on any program on start menu and choosing "uninstall" should launch that program's uninstaller right away. whether that program is a Win32 app or UWP app. Upvote this feedback to support it: https://aka.ms/AA6p782919Views1like0Comments
