How to add pages to an existing PDF on Windows?
I have an existing PDF and need to insert several pages from another PDF into the middle of it, rather than simply attach the second file at the end. I’d also like to add a blank page occasionally and be able to check or adjust the page order afterward. I usually open PDFs in Microsoft Edge on Windows, but I haven’t found a way to insert pages there. Can Edge do this, or do I need a separate PDF editor? I’d prefer a free method without Acrobat Pro, whether that’s a desktop application or an online tool. What would you recommend for placing the new pages exactly where they belong while keeping the existing document intact?[Request] be able to restart Windows Sandbox | Persistent vs Temporary Sandbox
Windows Sandbox cannot be used for testing any software installation which requires a restart. This is one of its shortcomings, I think Microsoft should implement some kind of setting in future to allow a 'persistent' Sandbox besides the current temporary Sandbox. so like user will be asked before launching it that whether they want a Temporary or Persistent sandbox. Temporary = everything is wiped clean after closing. Persistent = everything will be there even after host device restart/shutdown or Windows sandbox (guest OS) restart.Xbox app is missing a lot of features from Xbox console companion
Xbox console companion app which is being depreciated and retired, has still a lot of useful features such as clubs, screenshot uploads, friends activity, uploading your own custom photo as avatar, viewing captures etc etc Xbox app has none of these, yet every time I open Xbox console companion app it says use Xbox app instead, I'm worried that none of these features are going to be added to the new Xbox app. I highly depend on these features and they are important ones. Just like in VMware products, Hyper-V needs USB device passthrough, so that we can connect our USB device (USB network adapter, USB flash storage, USB printers etc.) straight to the guest OS VM such as Windows and Linux Upvote this on Feedback hub: https://aka.ms/AAa8gclAssign a shortcut to Touch Keyboard in Windows
I need to launch Touch Keyboard without the need to going to the bottom of the screen and click on its icon, because it's time consuming and I have to do this repeatedly. I use mechanical keyboard but in order to write in foreign alphabets, I need to use Touch keyboard which is on my screen and I can use mouse to select words. It'd be great if I could launch Touch keyboards quickly with a keyboard shortcut. Bring back the ability to hold Shift + click on pinned icons on Taskbar to open multiple instances of the app Windows 10 has this useful feature but it's missing in Windows 11, where you could hold Shift and then click (left-click) on a pinned app icon on taskbar that is already open, in order to open another instance of the app. for example the file explorer, browser, media player, text editor, calculator and so on. When we fresh Install or Reset our Windows 10 Enterprise edition, we only have the option to sign into our business Microsoft account (aka Microsoft 365). no option to sign into our Personal account. so the only way is to make a local account and then when we come to the desktop, sign into our Personal Microsoft account. this needs to change so we can use either business or personal account during OOBE when installing or resetting Windows 10 Enterprise edition. *the options for email and displaying message are unusable since they are deprecated, you get error if you try to use them. I need to create tasks in Windows Task Scheduler and see Windows push notifications in action center when that task's criteria is met or triggered. another one is that I need to attach a Task to Windows Event Viewer and once an event entry is created in the custom logs, I get notified by a notification in Windows. please upvote in feedback hub: https://aka.ms/AAbzrjw
