I create a template from Microsoft for a check on a shared mailbox and then add the attachment to a Microsoft Lists (SharePoint Online). I go to do a Test, manual, and it errors out. When I click, it says no mailbox found. That is frustrating as when I go to create a new, I type in say the name "sharedMailboxaname" and AAD resolves it, yet the Inbox doesn't 'exist.' The dynamic invocation request failed with error: { "status": 404, "message": "The specified object was not found in the store., Default folder Root not found.\r\nclientRequestId: f12cdb6f-1ead-4807-b978-6120a051cc3a\r\nserviceRequestId: 02e88b74-827d-43ea-a768-70351841738d", "error": { "message": "The specified object was not found in the store., Default folder Root not found.", "code": "ErrorItemNotFound", "originalMessage": "The specified object was not found in the store., Default folder Root not found." }, "source": "office365-wus.azconn-wus-01.p.azurewebsites.net" }. Again when I go to manually test it, it errors out. We are in hybrid mode and it was created in Exchange On-premises. Exchange on-premises shows it. This was setup exactly as another mailbox and it works. I am not sure what is happening that I can see it, email to it and have it as a shared mailbox on my Microsoft Office 365 Outlook. Thank you.sharepoint and resource calendar
I've linked a resource calendar to my SPO page using the exchange command publishenabled $true. That gets me a link for the calendar and for the most part works, however the calendar only shows free busy. Is there a switch I can use to get the details or another way I should be linking this calendar?739Views0likes0CommentsSharepoint Login Pop-up appears when opening Outlook
Hello, we are using Sharepoint 2016 and connected it to our Exchange Server via Outlook, so that our contacts in Outlook will also show in Sharepoint. Ever since than we are experiencing a pop-up in which sharepoint asks for credentials to login. Apparently this pop-up will appear multiple times a day, with no option so safe the login data. (please see attached picture) What I tried already: I added the server URL to the Local intranet settings in Windows Internet Options I added the server URL to the trusted sites and selected 'Automatic logon with current user name and password' in custom levels (Internet Options - Security - custom level) Both didn't work, therefore I kindly ask for your support and ideas to solve this issue. Many thanks in advance!1.2KViews0likes0CommentsExchange online retention policy affecting SharePoint & OneDrive
We have an exchange online retention policy applied to retain content forever. Strangely, this policy also affects SharePoint sites even though they are not part of the target locations in retention policy. Retention policy PowerShell outputs: I check the status of the policy via PowerShell and output shows that SharePointLocation field is blank. But when I try to delete a folder in SharePoint, it throws the error that all items inside folder should be deleted before you can delete the folder, which is common when there is a retention policy applied to that site. I contacted MS support and this is the reply I received: This answer does not make much sense to me and am not able to find any documentation on this side effect anywhere. Anyone has any tips or guidance on this?669Views0likes0Comments
