Hi folks since a few days now, our colleagues reported that often and all of a sudden, emails older than 1 day disappear from a shared Online Mailbox. Once this occurs, they click on another folder and then go back again to Inbox and the emails show up again. We have deployed the latest available Outlook 365 version (release 16.0.17328.20142) but issue still occurs. This happens to all users accessing that shared mailbox. Also, it occurs on multi devices. Are we the only ones facing this issue ? Kindly advise D536Views0likes0CommentsHow to disable research contacts outlook 365
1. At work, I was asked for some users to have restriction on the contact list when using Outlook 365. 2. For this, I created a contact policy and a gal, etc etc etc and everything happens perfect. They no longer have the contact list available. 3. However, if they use the search for contacts Outlook 365 (that bar well above) can research any other user. 4. Before proposing some kind of moderation, I would like to know if there is any way to disable research contacts Outlook 365? 5. Thank you very much594Views0likes0CommentsReply All from Shared Mailbox removes Sender Address and Duplicates Shared Mailbox Address
Our scenario is as follows: Our client is on Exchange Online and using Outlook 2013. We have 2 people accessing a shared mailbox called Info@mycompany.com PersonA and PersonB have access to the shared mailbox with full permissions. PersonA and PersonB are able to successfully send and receive from info@mycompany.com Test Scenario Send mail from PersonA@mycompany.com TO info@mycompany.com, random@random.com Test Result info@mycompany.com and random@random.com receive the email - no problem yet Test Scenario PersonA views the email in the Info shared mailbox and hits Reply All Test Result Problem exists here where: From = Info@mycompany.com To = Info@mycompany.com, random@random.com Expected behavior: From = info@mycompany.com To = PersonA@mycompany.com, random@randomcom Why would Outlook incorrectly remove PersonA@mycompany.com and incorrectly add info@mycompany.com to the TO field (unecessary since you're replying from info@mycompany.com, the shared mailbox)? Specifically, I'm referring to the step outlined in "Step 4" in this page: Outlook 2016 implementation of Autodiscover (microsoft.com) I realize that support KB is for Windows' Outlook, but I am indeed asking the question - does Outlook for Mac also do this new trick? If so, is there a specific version where this feature was added? Thanks in advance.1.5KViews0likes0Comments
