exchange online

We use our exchange mailboxes on-prem. We manually deactivated the exchange online plan for the users in our organization, although an E1 license is assigned. We currently use Teams Direct Routing. When a voicemail is recorded, nothing is displayed in the Teams CIient. Is it possible for the voicemail to be displayed in the Teams client or in the Exchange mailbox (on-prem) without activating the Exchange Online plan or does it require an Exchange Online plan?Solved1.9KViews0likes3CommentsTeams profile photos replaced by placeholder?
Hi all, starting this past Friday we noticed that the Teams user profile photos started disappearing resp. being replaced with the placeholder. I'm aware of the unification Microsoft was about to carry out for Yammer profiles so that they would use M365 profile pictures. However, that this was going to carry over to Teams surprised me. Since we're not using Exchange Online there seems to be no way to provide profile photos for our users any longer. In the M365 user profile of a user there's still the option of uploading photo. However, it's not synched due to EXO missing. Any idea if there're workarounds? Thanks.84KViews2likes27CommentsWhat does "all mailboxes" really mean in Teams app permissions?
An end user requested that I grant admin consent to a Team app's permissions. When I looked at the app, here's what I found: This app says it wants full access to ALL mailboxes without a signed in user. Nobody in their right minds would ever grant any Teams app such an extraordinary level of access to their organization! But does that actually mean what it says? I have discovered that some of these permission descriptions don't actually mean they say and none of Microsoft's documentation seems to provide any clarity. Will consenting to this request actually grant full access to every mailbox in my organization?Solved1.4KViews0likes3CommentsUsing MS Teams group in Exchange Online mail rule.
Hi Everyone, I would like to build a mailflow rule based on a group membership, however I would like this group to be MS Teams groups, so if a user is a member of X Team, rule will apply, however I am not able to see any Team group on a list. I have securityenabled this group - no luck, still not there. Is anyone aware of if/how this can be achieved? Basically what I would like to have is a mail rule based on a group membership where users would be able to add themselves (and only themselves) there and remove as well - so they can decide whether the solution works for them or not. I was thinking about Team membership - easy for users to add and remove themselves. Any ideas appreciated, Cheers, JSolved2.3KViews0likes2Comments
