Using Microsoft Purview glossary and business terms as knowledge for Copilot Agents?
Hi everyone, I'm exploring the knowledge management capabilities of Copilot Agents and had a question regarding integration with Microsoft Purview. In several demos, I've seen Copilot Agents configured with business context manually through features such as Glossary, Synonyms, and other knowledge-related settings. This makes sense when the information only exists within the agent configuration. However, in our case, we already have a significant amount of business metadata managed in Microsoft Purview, including: Business glossary terms Synonyms and alternative business names Definitions and descriptions Data domain ownership and governance information Metadata linked to underlying SQL data sources My question is whether there is a way for a Copilot Agent to leverage this information directly from Purview instead of maintaining a separate glossary and synonym repository within the agent itself. Ideally, we would like Purview to remain the single source of truth for business terminology and semantic definitions, with Copilot consuming that context dynamically. Has anyone implemented or evaluated an architecture like this? Specifically: Can Copilot Agents directly use Purview glossary assets and business metadata? Is there any native integration currently available? Would this require a custom solution (for example, retrieving Purview metadata through APIs and exposing it to the agent as a knowledge source)? Are there any best practices for keeping business context synchronized between Purview and Copilot? I'd be very interested to hear how others are approaching this challenge and whether Microsoft has any roadmap or recommended patterns in this area. Mano, eu preciso de ajuda. Estou tentando acessar a conta Microsoft no PC e no celular, mas não estou conseguindo. Entrei em contato com o suporte para pedir ajuda, pois não consigo trocar a senha. Não estou recebendo o SMS no celular, não chega de forma alguma. O suporte disse que não pode fazer nada, pois a segurança é muito forte e eles não conseguem acessar. Agora, nem eu, que sou dono da minha conta, também consigo acessar, pois não consigo trocar a senha. Detalhe: chega o código no e-mail, eu coloco o código, não aceita, aí pede o código do SMS. O problema do código do SMS é que ele não está chegando no celular. Esse é o único problema. Aí o suporte falou que é para entrar em contato na comunidade para poder ver se algum engenheiro consegue ajudar. E é aí que está o detalhe, pois ele disse que tem que recuperar acesso da conta do autenticador, mas eu não consigo recuperar porque pede senha. E quando pede senha, eu não consigo acessar, pois a minha senha antiga simplesmente parou de funcionar. E agora não consigo fazer mais nada. Não consigo recuperar o autenticador, não consigo trocar a senha, não consigo jogar os meus jogos e eu não quero perder a minha conta com coisas dentro porque a segurança é tão alta que nem o próprio usuário consegue acessar.
Entity Framework DB permissions
I want to use Entity Framework with a .Net 9 app but have had difficulty finding information on what DB permissions it needs in the app database. I've found a couple old StackOverflow posts but having created a user with the recommended db_datareader, db_datawriter and db_ddladmin and updated the app connection string to use it and now the app won't start. What more does it need?
Problem with the startswith function in NET 9
Hi everyone, I have this request with Odata: http://localhost:5194/NationalStates?$filter=startswith(state, 'NE') This works correctly up to version 8.0.14 for the following packages: MySql.EntityFrameworkCore Microsoft.Extensions.DependencyInjection.Abstractions Microsoft.EntityFrameworkCore among others... When I update these packages to version 9.0.0 or later, they stop working and give an internal mapping error. Any clues about this?
