6 TopicsTurn off Assignment notifications for teachers
We have made one team per class of students with teachers as owners of the team, as per our country's policy. Problem is that there doesn't seem to be a way to set it so that Teachers don't get pinged every time some assingment is given to all of the pupils. It seems that the ping comes from the program automatically pinging the whole team which is bad. This also means we can't just turn off in notifications this type of event, because most still want to get notifications when a person mentions them, rather than a headless program. So is there a way for teachers on android and ios phones not to be notified about assignments that other teachers make?5.9KViews3likes6CommentsClass Teams Assignments Statistics
Does anyone know of any way to pull assignment statistics from class teams using PowerBI or Graph or equiv? Our School exec's want to see the usage of Teams and how many students are returning work etc. I cant see any PowerBI or Graph extensions for Teams classes so I don't have high hopes. I'm aware of the usage graph however am looking for specific data regarding assignments.2.2KViews2likes3CommentsStudents viewing feedback before teacher hits "return"
Hi I have just tested the functionality and as some other people have identified, students can view feedback as and when teachers add comments or highlight the attached documents in an assignment. As a teacher, there are times when this is okay, but other times when it would make Teams unsuitable. When students submit exams or coursework teachers need the ability to edit and provide feedback within the document (by adding comments, or highlighting) in draft mode, before it is visible to the students. Since this has been an identified issue since 2018, as far as I can see from previous comments, I was hoping that there is a workaround or a setting that can be applied to achieve this. Please confirm. Best wishes, Gareth2.8KViews1like5CommentsDelete Meeting of Former User
Odd question here, but I work in K12, and we have an issue where students are rejoining an old meeting from a previous teacher. The teacher (and their account) are no longer around, and the meeting was setup with the meeting settings were left wide open. This had lead to a situation where the students are inviting other students to the old meeting and chatting (usually inappropriately) and sharing content they should be sharing. Is there anyway of permanently removing this meeting now that the owner of the meeting and their account is gone? Is there a way to take ownership or list orphan meetings like this? I've done a content search/purge to remove look for the invites, etc. Is there anything else to do that I'm not thinking of?
