Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 21313
"Hello Windows Insiders, today we are releasing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 21313 (RS_PRERELEASE) to Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel. This build is being offered to ALL Insiders in the Dev Channel. All Insiders in the Dev Channel will now receive the same build going forward. NOTE: Build 21313 will not be offered to ARM64 devices due to an app compatibility issue. We hope to flight to ARM64 devices with the next flight once the issue is fixed." the new Chromium based Microsoft Edge browser is available by default in Windows 10 20H2, but in later version of Windows which is Dev channel Build 21286, Edge legacy is there instead. this doesn't make sense, I was expecting to see the new Microsoft Edge in Windows after a fresh install. This is the Windows 10 build that the new Edge officially replaces the legacy Edge by default, but in Windows Sandbox's image, the old Edge is still there, no sign of new Edge. After switching to slow/beta ring in Windows insider, a cumulative update is installed and after computer restart, the new Microsoft Edge, based on Chromium gets installed as well. but the version is outdated, currently the latest version is 83 but the version that automatically gets installed at first is version 81.
