I have Windows 10 and Windows 11 on the same disk but in different partitions. My question is if I turn on Disk Encryption on say Windows 11 partition will it encrypt the entire disk or just the partition the has Windows 11 on it. The actual setup of the drive is 3 partitions C:\Windows 10, D:\Windows 11, E:\Backups682Views0likes0CommentsWindows 10 Home - Device Encryption - Can I turn on without a Microsoft account
Hello, Happy Friday! 🙂 I would like to turn on the BitLocker Device Encryption with an offline Administrator account, but I am asked to sign in with a Microsoft account instead. May I know how I can bypass signing in to the Microsoft online account? Any information is welcomed. 🙂 Model: Surface Go 3 OS: Windows 10 Home (No S) Error message: You need a Microsoft account to finish encrypting this device. Hi all i have around 100 new HP Elitebooks which i want to configure with Bitlocker. We would like to accomplish this in the Endpoint security section and created a Device encryption policy according to this article: https://petri.com/best-practices-for-deploying-bitlocker-with-intune I have the issue, that in Intune it shows that the policy has an error. When i click on the error, everything shows successful (see printscreen intune1) When i check the report, i have as far as i can say everything correct there for my Test Device (see printscrren Intune2). When i check on the device i see the only the used space is encrypted (see printscreen bitlocker). Does anybody know how i could correct the error as well is that the recommended configuration to have only the used space encrypted? Many thanks for your feedback Best regards, MarcSolved6KViews0likes8Comments
