Device Encryption
I have Windows 10 and Windows 11 on the same disk but in different partitions. My question is if I turn on Disk Encryption on say Windows 11 partition will it encrypt the entire disk or just the partition the has Windows 11 on it.
The actual setup of the drive is 3 partitions C:\Windows 10, D:\Windows 11, E:\Backups

If you turn on encryption on the Windows 11 partition (D:), only that partition will be encrypted. The other partitions (C:\ and E:) will remain unencrypted unless you specifically choose to encrypt them as well.
Enabling device encryption in Windows encrypts only the system partition (D:), without affecting other partitions.
