SharePoint Online - Embed Power BI Reports
Hi SPO Team, I have hundreds of power bi reports that I need to embed into the SharePoint online site. In Azure AD, four security groups have been created, so we can maintain the site access. Do I need to create a hundred separate SharePoint pages to include those reports? Also, is it necessary to create four separate SPO Teams sites based on the security groups, or can it be done in a single SPO Teams site, so the O365 users can access those reports? Hi All, We have a group of users who have view only or restricted view permissions on SharePoint online , we wanted these users to be able to print the PDFs but not download or bulk download them, is this possible. I have tried Information Right Management, Didn't work for me as I expected.
how do i get last week sale for same period when I don't have the dates column
Hi there, I have data in this format: One column has the year. The second column has the period (12 periods in a year, but they are not the same as months, as they start on different dates). The third column has the week number (every period has at least 4 weeks; some of them have 5 weeks). I'm trying to create filters for the data: The first filter is the year, followed by the period and then the week. The data I get after applying these filters is correct. Now, I've tried using the 'sameperiodlastyear' function to retrieve data from the previous year with the same period and week, but it's not working. Can you please help me? Thanks.

Hello, I would like help to know how I can check the user id when I access the sharepoint, I do it through a .net application (executed directly from the web I have no problems) but when said app I put it inside an iframe so that it comes out inside a sharepoint site, here comes the problem since it does not detect the userid. Is there a way to detect the sharepoint userid from a sharepoint iframe? Thanks.
PowerBi get data from multiple site collections
Hi, There is a requirement to produce a PowerBi report / dashboard but rather than getting information from a single site, their is a need to gather information from multiple site collections. The other requirement is that these site collections can grow and the url's of the site are unknown until the site is created (all sites to be reported on will have the same pre-fixed characters though) The sites will contain the same list and columns. Ideally, PowerBi should be able to slice and dice the data from various sites. Is this possible?Building a SharePoint Engagement Metrics report / dashboard
I'm looking into building a SharePoint Engagement Metrics report. I understand that SharePoint provides some basic analytics but this view does not offer user granularity. https://contoso.sharepoint.com/sites/my-sharepoint-site/_layouts/15/siteanalytics.aspx?view=19 I'm looking into using the Office 365 Unified Audit Logs, specifically the 'ViewedPage' SharePoint activity. Is this the right approach for this? Is there a better option, if so what are those options? Please advise.
building reports for SharePoint lists inside Power BI, are my reports achievable
I want to build 3 charts and show them inside my SharePoint online modern page, the charts are as follow:- 1) First chart is to group the items from a single SharePoint list by Created date, and show the total number of items based on the day of the week (Mon till Sun). So for example, if today is Wednesday, it should show the results from past Tuesday till today (Wednesday) 2) Second chart is to show the total number of items from 4 different lists and show the percentage inside a pie chart 3) Third chart is to group the items from a single SharePoint list by Created date, and show the total number of items based on the month from the first month of the year till current month. So can i build these charts using Power Bi and embed them inside SharePoint modern page? Thanks
