Hi I'm hoping someone can help. My company has just invested in Copilot for my team on my request and some of the functions it purports to have don't seem to work. When I ask it to create new word documents from a template, it tells me it is generating the documents but never actually does. Similarly, when I ask it to copy information from a word document and paste it into a spreadsheet, it tells me it has done it but hasn't. Has anyone else experienced this or know a fix for it? If it can't actually do this and create one document based on another document then its usefulness to me is vastly reduced. Thanks7.7KViews3likes3CommentsHow to join Frontier early access?
In the https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/blog/2025/03/25/introducing-researcher-and-analyst-in-microsoft-365-copilot/ article, it states: Researcher and Analyst will start rolling out to customers with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license in April as part of a new “Frontier” program that gives customers early access to new Copilot innovations while they’re still in development. How can a company or individual enroll in the "Frontier" program?7.3KViews3likes5CommentsDownload links not working
I spent hours creating a training guide on copilot but when it finished the document, the download link did not work. I have tried checking updates, verifying permissions, clearing cache and restarting laptop. Hello, I predominantly use Outlook through the website via Chrome. I also use OneDrive, Excel, and Word through Chrome quite often. I had a tech person walk me through removing Copilot from my computer's apps - the actual programs - but it's still showing up on my website uses. I do not support AI, AI is absolute trash, and I want Copilot completely eliminated from everything I use. I am tired of having to close the Copilot 'summary' that automatically pops up at the top of all my emails. Is there an easy way to completely eliminate this, or am I doomed? Thank you!5.6KViews14likes4CommentsWork/Web Toggle Not present on Microsoft 365 copilot
Hi there, I am unable to see the work/web toggle and other features of the paid version of microsoft 365 copilot. Can you help with this? I was able to see it in Word, Excel, Powerpoint but accessing copilot from onedrive, onenote, loop, outlook, teams or even on m365.cloud.microsoft, I couldnt see the features of the paid version of copilot. I tried manually updating the license but couldnt find those options for some of the app. I am using M365 for Mac. Can you help with this. I had included a screenshot of this. I check my subscriptions and I had already been assigned the correct license.Solved3.1KViews1like7CommentsHow to prevent Copilot from accessing certain documents
Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) will soon extend to support Microsoft 365 Copilot. DLP policies will be able to identify sensitive documents based on sensitivity labels and exclude processing for Copilot interactions in Microsoft 365 Copilot Business Chat. The preview does not support alerts, incident reports, and policy simulation. Audit records will be available at a later time after policy management is enabled for organizations. A Microsoft 365 Copilot license and a Microsoft 365 E5 license or equivalent are required to use this feature. #Copilot #Purview #Microsoft365 #MPVbuzz #DLP #SharePoint #OneDrive2.9KViews0likes0CommentsData Extraction and Manipulation
Right. So I have been trying to achieve the following; Extract Key Data from a structured PDF > Push this Key Data into a Word/Excel document I can get parts of this process to work. Copilot seems pretty good at extracting data from PDFs and Excel files etc, it will show me the correct data in the chat. BUT when I ask it to push this into a pre-existing word template it just doesnt work. The best result I had was when Copilot added the Key Data to the end of the Word doc. Not what I wanted but not a million miles off. Its also fine with putting this into a new word document. So it feels like Copilot has all the functionaility required but just wont combine this with using a pre-existing word/excel template. I even tried content control boxes. For some context, this sort of thing (basically copying pasting data from one doc to another) is incredibly time consuming and there is a LOT of this in my industry. Hoping that there is a way to achieve this, even if it means multiple steps etc! 🙃2.2KViews0likes2CommentsM365 Copilot Pro vs Copilot Pro
Hi, my name is Mark Salden, and I am a freelance graphic designer, social media marketer, and web designer from Belgium. I currently have an Office 365 Business Standard subscription and would like to purchase Microsoft 365 Copilot. Just to be clear: the regular Copilot Pro is only for individuals and not for businesses, correct? It’s a bit confusing, and I want to be 100% sure. I want to integrate Microsoft 365 Copilot into Word, Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, etc. With Copilot, can I automatically create notes and summaries during online meetings in Teams? Also, can I use Copilot in Microsoft Loop? That part is not clear to me. I am also very interested in Copilot Studio because I want to create AI agents that help me with SEO, content creation, image generation, and more. Are there any limits on building AI agents, and can I create workflows and automate processes there as well? I hope someone can assist me. Thanks in advance!1KViews0likes5CommentsCapabilities of Copilot in Web Browser vs. in Excel
Hello, I have noticed differences of Copilot capabilities of M365 Copilot in web browser vs. in Excel itself. For example, I want to count the number of lines in Excel file based on some parameters. When I put the prompt "Count the number of rows that have 'VTT' in column 'Product'." into Excel Copilot, it counts the correct number of rows. When I put the same prompt, just starting with "In file /Sample_data.xlsx" into M365 Copilot in Teams or in the web browser, it returns incorrect count every time. The same happens when I upload the file directly to the Copilot window and not link it to Onedrive. Mostly less (correct is 202 and Copilot returns 64 or so). I suspect it cannot access the entire document. I have tried many similar simple tests with other prompts and it is often the same result - in Excel good, elsewhere bad. Why does this happen? Is it because the file is indexed only partially in some sort of index and web Copilot draws from that and cannot see the data itself? How can I allow the Teams/web Copilot to access the data so the results are correct? I don't want to open Excel everytime to use the data inside. Thank you very much!! PS: When I test the same prompts with ChatGPT 4o mini, it responds correctly every time, so the data is AI-readable.900Views1like3Comments
