Copilot not creating new documents
Hi I'm hoping someone can help. My company has just invested in Copilot for my team on my request and some of the functions it purports to have don't seem to work. When I ask it to create new word documents from a template, it tells me it is generating the documents but never actually does. Similarly, when I ask it to copy information from a word document and paste it into a spreadsheet, it tells me it has done it but hasn't. Has anyone else experienced this or know a fix for it? If it can't actually do this and create one document based on another document then its usefulness to me is vastly reduced. Thanks
How to remove Copilot from showing up on web-based apps?
Hello, I predominantly use Outlook through the website via Chrome. I also use OneDrive, Excel, and Word through Chrome quite often. I had a tech person walk me through removing Copilot from my computer's apps - the actual programs - but it's still showing up on my website uses. I do not support AI, AI is absolute trash, and I want Copilot completely eliminated from everything I use. I am tired of having to close the Copilot 'summary' that automatically pops up at the top of all my emails. Is there an easy way to completely eliminate this, or am I doomed? Thank you!
Excel Connector Issue in Copilot Studio for Agent using SharePoint as Knowledge Source
I am creating a declarative agent in Copilot studio to easily access information from my team's SharePoint site. However, I am having issues with the excel connector. I receive the error message below when asking copilot a question relating to the excel file. "Error Message: The connector 'Excel Online (Business)' returned an HTTP error with code 404. Below is a screenshot of the inputs I am using. Any ideas on what is causing the issue/why the excel file is not recognized?
Data Extraction and Manipulation
Right. So I have been trying to achieve the following; Extract Key Data from a structured PDF > Push this Key Data into a Word/Excel document I can get parts of this process to work. Copilot seems pretty good at extracting data from PDFs and Excel files etc, it will show me the correct data in the chat. BUT when I ask it to push this into a pre-existing word template it just doesnt work. The best result I had was when Copilot added the Key Data to the end of the Word doc. Not what I wanted but not a million miles off. Its also fine with putting this into a new word document. So it feels like Copilot has all the functionaility required but just wont combine this with using a pre-existing word/excel template. I even tried content control boxes. For some context, this sort of thing (basically copying pasting data from one doc to another) is incredibly time consuming and there is a LOT of this in my industry. Hoping that there is a way to achieve this, even if it means multiple steps etc! 🙃Update licence seems to not activate Copilot.. gettign redirected to FAQ url
Good day I have updated the licence on my Copilot 365 several times to make sure i restarted the apps and even the machine... I can see Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel and the Copilot icon. But still everytime i click the copilot365 icon from within a 365 app I get redirected to when clicking copilot within an office ai always get redirected to https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2242508 . i am not a admin on my machine so i suspect it might be it? I am a PhD student at a Chilean university and I have free access to Office through this account. However, I cannot subscribe to Copilot Pro with this account because the option simply does not appear. Additionally, I am not sure what happens if I subscribe with a personal email. I imagine that Office and Copilot Pro must be on the same account to use Copilot integrated into Office apps, although I am not sure, so I would appreciate it if you could clarify this point. Besides this, I would like to know if there are any discounts for students on Copilot Pro. Thank you in advance for your help. How does a company as successful and forward thinking as Microsoft consistently get it wrong. The uptake of CoPilot among our customer base of 100 clients can be counted on half a hand. We have a customer that would like to trial 5 x users but there is no trial available and the only option is to subscribe to a twelve month commitment for each user. Every other M365 product we use has a monthly option. Why would you do that?
